HUGH TKS TO Virg1877 to videoing. 'cause my focus was on Adam only...so I'm on my knees to Virg and any tohers who taped...
Here are a few comments from different attendees - mind you this is not verbatim but you will get the gist.
In case you haven't gathered, I am a 'gabber'. THis is just in random order...

3. THe same two friends who were chatting away w me commented that Adam was without a record label. I answered "WHAT?" WHere did you hear that? THey replied about 3 weeks ago it was announced and even a TV station mentioned it. I quickly elbowed Q3 and shouted. Listen to this,,, they are saying no record label. Q3 retorred NO He is still w RCA. I also re-enforced her answer. But interesting to hear that comment. How many tohers think he's been let go??
... I finally figured out what that woman was talking about -- it was the 19 Recording contract end mix-up which as we all know was initially reported as Adam being dropped by his label by a few people who did not understand the Idol contact/licensing weirdness. It was so long ago I did not think about it at first. Great to see you again -- and sorry we had to dash off. |

Mzsue, we could see him, so if he had bared anything, there would be photos--large photos taken with zoom lenses. Also, there would not have been enough glambulances and we would have crashed twitter world wide.

Not to completely wet blanket the Brian tweet/Adam retweet...I wouldn't be saving up $$ quite yet. The fact that Brian has mentioned is good but they mention a LOT that doesn't end up happening for various reasons. Adam retweeting it might mean he believes it's going to happen but truth be told we're still a long way off...especially when it comes to something TV...last time Brian mentioned working on something possibly for TV the year was 2001 and they were doing a VH1 Storytellers gig. It's now 2013...maybe it's finally happening   If they do anything together, my bet is that it is a special TV performance like the EMAs. It would be great if it was the VMAs or something on US TV. (Yes, I am dreaming.) But this sounds so vague to me.... "We are talking about doing something with Adam, probably for TV,” said

I think we will never unwind it all because I can't get any reliable info from the Delta Foundation folks. But we do have a setlist that includes all the songs Adam did (although in a different order). What I have been able to piece together is that Adam did all the songs he was contracted to do, the dancers were never going to be there (and I do not think they would have fit on that stage with the band and Adam). The sound level for the after party was lower than for Adam. We could hear the sound check inside our hotel room on the 22nd floor of the Westin, but we could not hear the after party. I am assuming the concert sound levels were the same as sound check.I am still not sure who is complaining except people who were not there. PS Nice to see you -- My husband and I had to race out quickly because he got a direct hit in the eye with one of those purple balls from the ball drop and he had to get his retina checked. It was fine.  But we had quite a scare. He has had several retinal surgeries so it is a major concern. Then we went and had a nice midnight dinner! (Pitt has a great medical center!) I recorded Pittsburgh with both my Q3HD audio/video recorder and a new setup that includes miniature exterior microphones, a Sony PCM-M10 audio recorder, and a battery box to boost the level of sound that could be recorded before the audio is distorted. During the warm up acts and the DJ, I had the Sony PCM-M10 calibrated at a setting of 3 (0=low recording volume, 10=high recording volume). That setting worked great - untill Adam came on stage. It was obvious right away that the audio would be distorted at the recording volume and I had to quickly scramble to find a setting that would work, which was around 1. This caused me to neglect the Q3HD which is why I didn't get it's record button pushed till 2 min into Adam's set. I used the 1 way down auto adjust for the recording volume on the Q3HD, so I didn't have to watch/fiddle with the recording level on it. The bottom line is, my audio recording equipment showed that Adam's set was definitely way louder than any of the warm up acts or DJ music!
