Hey I hope you guys are right trust me. I'm just not counting on it myself knowing the history. It certainly is better than not hearing anything. It went from about 10% likely to happen to 15-20% in my eyes  But if Brian hasn't said anything specific (and he didn't it was all vague) than this has not progressed THAT far. And Adam retweeting just makes it clear that they are talking about doing "something". He didn't add anything more...I don't know. I'm just conditioned not to hold my breath, let's put it that way.... Talon....what to you think of this collaboration with Psy (or however you spell his name)? Meh. I'm not terribly excited. But I won't throw a fit either. To me Brian has earned the right to do whatever he wants to do and if it's silly stupid stuff like Psy than it is what it is. As I said in another forum, I'm betting it's Psy going to be on Kerry Ellis' new album covering a Queen song than any Queen + Psy thing and that makes it even more okay. I would be a little more hesitant if they tried to do any Queen + Psy. |

crazyoldgal - I SO wish I could have gone with you! Sounds like you have a great fun time! This bit though - I've watched a ton of videos and "sad" is the exact opposite of what he seemed to me! ![]()

Yeah everything is okay here! Recovered and back in action :D Thanks! I'm wondering if there is some festival/TV thing coming up...I can't think of any but it definitely could be something like that...I still am hoping for a full tour but there's so much on everyone's plate right now... Maybe some kind of upcoming tribute concert?  At Wembley Stadium? That will televised to a few billion people? Well they are reportedly re-releasing the Freddie Tribute on BluRay in the fall....something to coincide?  |

I finally figured out what that woman was talking about -- it was the 19 Recording contract end mix-up which as we all know was initially reported as Adam being dropped by his label by a few people who did not understand the Idol contact/licensing weirdness. It was so long ago I did not think about it at first. Great to see you again -- and sorry we had to dash off. I think that was what crazyoldgal was trying to say. If these ladies think that, imagine how many other people do. Sites that print the wrong story, rarely go back and correct it! I do not think that women was not representative of anyone else -- I am not even sure she was an Adam fan. She said at least two wrong things: First, Crazylady told me this woman said that they stopped selling tickets because the street could only hold 6,000 people. Something that I knew was not true and that I later confirmed with both the Delta Foundation and Pittsburgh police was not the case. I told Crazylady that I knew that they could sell at least 10,000 tickets because I had spoken to the organizers about the event on Thursday. Then Crazylady told me she said Adam was dropped by RCA. Standing waiting for Adam to come on, with the DJ blaring music and being told by Crazylady "That lady says Adam has been dropped by RCA", my first thought was not that it might be the Jan 12 articles. (Perez's article and the pick-ups.) My first thought was to make sure I corrected her and do it loudly enough so that the reporter standing near her heard me. In any case, I did not want to waste any energy on negativity. I really wish that I did not end up near that woman but I am glad that I ignored her and just enjoyed the event. Now, I plan to get some brain bleach and forget about her forever. |

PS Nice to see you -- My husband and I had to race out quickly because he got a direct hit in the eye with one of those purple balls from the ball drop and he had to get his retina checked. It was fine.  But we had quite a scare. He has had several retinal surgeries so it is a major concern. Then we went and had a nice midnight dinner! (Pitt has a great medical center!) Erk! Retinas can be so [metaphorically] touchy. Glad he's ok. |

Adam and Queen, what a fantastic news, I could not be more happier.  I hope that we will be seeing them on stage this year, and as seoulmate, she said at Wembley Stadium.. like this .. it would be amazing.   |
