I am so excited that Adam will be 45 minutes from my house on the Central Coast. I have some family issues to work out and some logistic problems, but I am going to be there. It will be my first time seeing him live! So happy for you that you will be seeing him live! There is absolutely nothing like that experience of seeing him in person. Nothing! |

So excited to be seeing Adam in San Diego on July 2nd---only 2 weeks from tonight!!!! I'll be meeting him backstage and can't think of what I'll say to him. A million thoughts run through my mind but nothing seems "just right" and I know he's heard it all before. If I can find my voice,I hope to be able to say,"Hi, Adam, I'm Lorraine" because he likes it when we introduce ourselves. - I so understand your dilemma, lorraine! I wouldn't know either! I guess I would've tried to somehow thank him for the gift he is. ...but I understand going speechless when he looks at you... |

I was so caught off guard/unprepared at seeing Adam after soundcheck on Sat. that I could barely speak or look directly into his eyes/sunglasses. I wish I had forgotten the pic and just introduced myself, shook his hand, and told him how much I enjoy his music and appreciate his advocacy and went to see him in London, etc. I guess I could not quickly come up with one special thing to say so I said something like 'thanks for coming out' and he said "of course, what else do have to do fora few hrs'. The picture taking was a total distraction and I did not want to take up too much time. total fail on my part. and yes, i am still trying to recover and plan to sign up for a meet and greet to make up for the lost opportunity I had.

E Canada tonight showed the short clip of Brad Pritt on the red carpet with Adam walking past behind him. I only had eyes for AFL - he looked fine indeed.
