Somehow Adam seemed more in control and more confident. He was there to entertain a crowd, and having a good time doing it. Perhaps it was because he was performing at a Pride event or because he is more secure now. But he did not seem to need to hear that applause or approval. The only word that comes to my mind is he seemed “self-contained”.
Yes! Yes! YES!! What went through my mind is "there is a man on stage now - a fully in his power man. I loved the boy and I adore the man.
Q3 So sorry to have missed seeing you in Pittsburgh. Hope to see you in San Diego

Just a little more than a day to vote on VH1's O Music awards for the Glamberts in the Fan Army category. Up against some very heavy hitters. www.omusicawards.com/vote/fan-army-ftwI just saw the most stunning number -- The top 1% of artists, received 65% of concert revenues in the US last year. That pretty much means that no new artists in the US can afford to tour. And if you look at venue bookings, some arenas are mostly empty. Agree Q3 this is a stunning stat. Discouraging for the music business, and sadly in step with other aspect of our culture where the top 1% have such a huge share of our nations wealth and income. |

I don't watch the Voice, so I am not familiar with the format and the extent of the coaches' self promotion. But this performance was all about Usher, he drowned Michelle, gave her less stage time....I came away with no concept of Michelle's abilities... and Usher is supposed to be a "good" coach??? ... to bring it back to Adam - I'll take his rendition any time (well... what a surprise coming from me... ![]() ) |

Just curious - How does a singer or Why does a singer get asked to walk the red carpet for a movie premier???? Does he get paid or does he does he just appear for exposure?

To me It spells RCA not rushing with the money.. At the onset of trespassing, I remember Adam saying something like,he's happy that he loves the new songs,because he would be singing them for 1-2 years.When Trespassing didn't get played on radio much.. I remember the urgency of Adam's remarks too.IMHO, I think Adam is not at liberty to tell us what's up with his label,or how often they go for new singles,videos,albums..Adam always seems to be selling himself,without much help from RCA.Just my opinion. |
