Quick help please - I am in a discussion on another forum about singers who are good technically. It seems an opportune moment to drop in a link to an Adam video! What would you recommend as the best 'one shot at this' video to give someone to demonstrate technique? Cassie, I posted Soaked from GNT Live - the discussion started off about vibrato so it seemed to fit. I debated either Feeling Good or Come to me bend to me too. I feel validated. I've had an enjoyable time pootling around youtube this evening. See there? You had the answer yourself. Hope they had the common sense and the training to be impressed by Adam.

Come to Me, Bend to Me - Brigadoon (Live) The voice is pure heaven, the technique flawless, the emotion palpable, and the instrumentation sparse so the voice is front and center. 200% proof of the extraordinary voice. 2. Whole Lotta Love - Fantasy Springs Concert. Need I say why? 3. Feeling Good - American Idol (Live) Live or studio. Recognized by many vocalists to be one of his best. Shows range, diversity, power, interpretation, technique. 4. Can’t Let You Go - FYE Album (Studio) — big rock song with insane technique. Don’t know another singer out there who can sing that high and powerfully while singing actual WORDS. The few who can hit those notes do it with an open vowel sound, but can’t articulate lyrics. Also shows range of emotion from beginning to end. 5. My Conviction - Hair (Live)For the “Shit! That can’t be Adam Lambert, can it???” factor. 6. Ring of Fire - American Idol (Live) For originality of arrangement, turning a song on its head, blowing our minds and also, again, the technique behind it is extraordinary. Who sings like that? Very difficult to execute. 7. Heaven on their Minds - Broadway Unplugged (Live) Rated by the rock guys at DDD as his best live performance. (This video has the audio turned up.) 8. Mad World - American Idol (Live)Idol live or studio. It’s the one he was most known for on the show, and the one that won him many new fans. 9. Soaked - Atlanta Concert (Live) Live acoustic. Often cited as having almost operatic vocals. Dynamic range great. Great emotional content. 10. Sleepwalker - Tonight Show With Jay Leno (Live)Leno, or possibly Brisbane, which many fans consider the best version from his (GNT) tour. Fierce. Wide range. Great emotional range. Had such a funny experience at the hair salon today. Their playlist is endless pop pablum. Suddenly I hear "the voice" and it is BTIKM. I came within a fraction of screaming out ADAM!!!! First time I ever heard him on their stupid playlist. Even though not my favorite song, it sounded amazing compared to everything else in its environment. OK I am done now.

I am also worried this is the longest she has been gone.. Tried her email and it bounced back, not a great way to start her summer. So many goodies she is missing. Hope her and her Mom are safe.
