Just a shutterbug. @lightlovephoto 3h RT @reuters: U.S. group that 'converted' gays closes its doors and apologizes reut.rs/1awYtXx Retweeted by PostFestumPF (Reuters) - A Christian group that once promoted therapy to encourage gays and lesbians to overcome their sexual preferences has closed its doors and apologized to homosexuals, acknowledging its mission had been hurtful and ignorant. much more... This got my attention partly because of what has been going in my area via my local newspaper - The Morning Call. In a nutshell this is what happened: * The paper printed a heart-wrenching article about a a gay couple who were very active in theater locally. They left their Allentown home when they decided to marry and haven't been able to return as a married couple. They still own their house and are waiting for the PA law to change so they can come home. * I wrote a short letter to the editor supporting this couple and lamenting the antiquated PA laws, which they printed. * In response, a female member of Outpost Ministries (self described as a "Bible-based organization committed to helping the sexually broken find healing & restoration through Jesus Christ") wrote an extended column called "Walking out of Homosexuality". This was very disheartening and I thought the subject would end on that outrageous disappointing note. But I was wrong! Since that column appeared several more readers have had letters published in support of the original couple and of marriage equality. So even PA seems to be moving in the right direction and that makes me cautiously optimistic!

Thank you.. too much for me.. I was disappointed that interested people couldn't find out how to bid from the article in the Huffington Post. Did I miss the information? Do you know if it was in the article??

Do you know if it was in the article?? There was a link. At the end of the article it said "To learn more information about the project and auction, click here."

Quick help please - I am in a discussion on another forum about singers who are good technically. It seems an opportune moment to drop in a link to an Adam video! What would you recommend as the best 'one shot at this' video to give someone to demonstrate technique? I am probably too late to help, but, here are a few suggestions, depending on what type of music they favor. 1. Come to Me Bend to Me - breathtakingly beautiful. Superb tone and phrasing. Amazing breath support. Classical sounding voice. 2. Feeling Good - live version on Idol. More blues/rock sound. Jaw-dropping sustained D5 that starts with a straight tone, then gradually adds vibrato, demonstrating technique and control. Shows how he builds a song. 3. Whole Lotta Love - Fantasy Springs. Demonstrates range from C3 to A5. NIce riffs and runs. Bending and stgretching notes. Blues feel. Full voice and fead voice high notes at will. And all done extemporaneously, off the cuff, just a jam.
4. Soaked - live GNT. Almost operatic in delivery. Shows technique, power.
Does that help?

That is so weird.. you go to bid ,but the page to bid on is cut short so you can't actually bid.. Huffington Post. I did click the link.. I'm not going to bid,but I don't think others will be able to with this info.Hmmmm.

Cassie, I posted Soaked from GNT Live - the discussion started off about vibrato so it seemed to fit. I debated either Feeling Good or Come to me bend to me too. I feel validated. I've had an enjoyable time pootling around youtube this evening.
