I wouldn't bother arguing with her, except about the monkeys. The story I remember is that they were observed using sticks as tools at about the same time all around the world.

I have no idea of you discussing about the monkeys in the bad way or something like that. I am very slow in my writing and secondly I had not read the whole thread yet. Oh! Boy, what a coincidence, the video is, I see it now .. but my intention is life and love .. I hope I did not offend you .. I am now embarrassed and do not really understand if I made some mistake.

Just showed Bonnie Mckee's video on The List on ABC. "One of the most sizzling collection of famous people ever". "It's for a lip-sync sing-a-long". Adam was shown briefly, but the host mentioned, "Katy Perry, Kesha, Kathy Griffin, Joan Rivers, MacAmour, and Kiss to name just a few." Wish she had mentioned "Adam Lambert"! He probably won't even be recognised by some people. Why is it that Adam's name is a big draw on line, but not on TV or mags? Grrr...

The hundredth monkey effect (1975) was proven to be based on a misinterpretation of secondary and tertiary reports. It was debunked with facts in 1985.
She wrote, "No doubt that there are social - political - corporate interest working against him, but it is my contention that Lambert is unstoppable. He will overcome the social stigma of being a member of the LGBT community, the political views of the far right and the music industry's pressure towards homogeneity."
The concept that Adam's would be a inter-galactic megastar except that TPTB/the media/radio/"corporate interests" are against him is equally unsupportable by the facts. So I guess Kerry Kolsch's use of a debunked bogus nonsense theory about mythical monkey behavior is appropriate for framing the bogus nonsense theory about mythical "enemies" thwarting Adam.
Adam is a major label artist for SONY one of the largest entertainment companies in the world on their flagship US label. He was one of the top 100 artists played on radio in 2010. He has been on a least 10 major US TV shows. He was nominated for a Grammy. He was on the cover of Billboard magazine and Rolling Stone. If this is being stopped by corporate interests, there are 1,000's of artists who would welcome being stopped by corporate interests.

Jeez, there is fan think and then there is utter nonsense. Calling Adam the best vocalist in pop music? Fine. That can be argued and defended, even though of course many will feel differently. As a fan I'd say that about him too. But 'best life performer in the entertainment industry'? How the hell are you going to back that up? By what standard? There are other good artists in this world...really, folks, you may want to start looking, Kerry. And then wildly stringing together every monkey business imaginable with Adam and making some off the wall theory out of it. There is a difference between fandom and utter insanity. But some seriously cross the line and it's embarrassing. j/s. Call me nuts but I liked what she had to say.. basically monkey see, monkey do. Other stars are starting to copy Adam's style(trendsetter). The more that happens,IMHO ,the more it will become part of the musical landscape and will add to Adam's already impressive fame. Gotta say the superlatives that some throw around about Adam give me the squeebies at times, but when that happens I just scroll on by or head out and grab some sunshine for a while. #toeachhisownIguess #carryon
