Now I'm curious...if Adam pays almost 10 grand a month in LA for his condo, what might he get for that amount of money in NYC??? I know real estate is mucho grande in both places. 10 GRAND A MONTH!!!!!! OMG!! WOW!!!  For a condo? Again....WOW!! I am thinking he is paying around 7-8K now, the 10K was the house...I might be wrong. anyway, a 2 bedroom apartment RENTAL in Manhattan is doable in this range, all depends on the exact neighborhood, size, condition, views.... IMO there is almost no UPPER limit  re grocery shopping - it is funny, the same exact question was asked by virtually everyone who came to stay with me for the Nokia in June 2010 shows. Many of us have a shopping cart of this kind:  It folds, so storing in a closet is not an issue and you can load it with a week worth of groceries. The residential neighborhoods have plenty of supermarkets, and as it was noted the home delivery is popular as well, both from the supermarkets and from the on-line order delivery outfits like Freshdirect.com. |
