Thanks mys*&@^#r. I didn't first get what "cut line" means and I (of course) tried to find the explanation in urban dictionary  and found "cut lines": "cut lines: THE hottest thing in the world. The "arrows" pointing down from a guys torso. The musle cuts on the hips of a guy points you in the right direction!" And I was more confused....  |

Sweet. Let's legislate to force the teaching of a "fact" that I haven't read in a single journal article. Ever. So nice that they added smoking as an "additional" risk factor to low weight rate babies. THIS is what happens when science haters are tapped to run science committees. [snorts] When I was fairly recently out of school, was at an AIChE (an engineering society) where Ben Cardin (now a senator) was literally begging more engineers to get involved in politics. I remember eyerolling somewhat at the time - we didn't go to school for so many years to get involved in something as stupid and fuzzy as politics. If any of us have had the personality to enjoy politics, we probably wouldn't have become engineers. But the man's point about people with science backgrounds being NEEDED gets more and more obvious by the moment. |
