Loving Energy Radio's Adam Lambert Hour. They even played Love Wins Over Glamour (without the dialogue) after I requested it. Are my ears playing tricks? Could have sworn Don't Stop Me Now with Queen was someone besides Adam. Yes, that was Freddie.

RE the lyrics (if that's what they are) - I made the mistake of commenting on twitter as soon as I saw his tweet this morning and before I read my feed. I really didn't think at the time that they were lyrics. Just that he was posting something he saw somewhere else. So I tweeted that I hoped they weren't lyrics (not to HIM of course!) and got hammered for it. In my 4.5 years of stanning this man I have probably criticized him 3 times out of 1000's. (one was melvin which I have now learned to love like . Adam's a pretty opinionated guy himself and I doubt he expects his fandom to be composed of sheep afraid to voice a dissenting opinion. Now that I think they might actually be lyrics I will take another look. For one thing - lyrics out of context without music are difficult to judge. So - unless you're Cole Porter............... My immediate response was about like yours. Thank G-D, I've learned to, mostly, keep my mouth shut and think it over for awhile. That said, twitter is the devil and I really, really, really hate the fandom thought police. They are bullies and you know what Adam says to do about bullying: bit.ly/1avHQgoAnyway, I've decided that I hope they are lyrics and that Adam is working on his new album. I remember reading a biography of Townes Van Zandt (famous country / folk style songwriter) who said that for him the lyric had to stand alone like a poem first ... Which is something I usually find about songs that stay with me for long periods. I can enjoy a good groove for a while but in the end if the song doesn't have substance in the lyrics it's like a sugar high, all buzz without any nourishment.

*** So great to listen to Energy Music Radio and Adam Lambert Hour!!! Unfortunately I was a bit late to the party as Djokovic match at Wimbledon was on at the same time... but will certainly tune in next monday too. *** Baffled about the Pink video ban from Q3. Too strict IMO, we should be able to share happenings in the Adam-related world. *** Big hug and thanks to Butterknife for streaming and the YT!!! A whole concert in one go (with banter etc between songs) is what I always wished for. *** Apparently a kick-ass event in Orlando, yay! Fun, confident and let-loose entertainer at work. A lot of work he did with all the dancing in a hot and humid weather... However, I think there were some issues with background vocals and hope that more songs get backing tracks or VJJs will return or at the very least Brian finds his focus. Also it seems that this concert attracted many possible mishaps in a live event (guitar not working, odd noise from bass, lyric fails and false start). All handled professionally and with humour - and memorable moments for us to track down. Been enjoying watching the great videos we got, thanks to all of their contributions! *** There isn't a ban as there's a connection. Enjoy the vid. -HSM

If I look at the lyrics of some of the songs Adam wrote for Trespassing I find them pretty impressive. That's one reason I doubted these were truly lyrics. Parts of it are fine, but this - "When they say it's love we forgo the royalties." I can see what that might mean to him but how can a listener to pop radio relate to foregoing royalties? I find it confusing. But I guess I still haven't learned my lesson because I still can't keep my mouth shut about this.
