Call me crazy but the figures on top are older figures.. I would like to know the current ratings..6 months later.. Especially with all the travel
& shows that Adam has done.. I am still of the belief that the Trespassing album had to have sold between 400,000 to 500,000 world
wide including America.Call me looney ,but if his sales were approximately 306,000 months ago counting overseas sales...what now??

I believe stardust only puts the official numbers on the front page, as should be! A few things: 1) Trespassing did not make big splashes in any of the top 5 music markets in the world, and Adam's travel & shows took place in markets that are mostly insignificant when it comes to music sales, except for Japan & South Korea which, unfortunately, didn't see any noticeable sales gains despite a few of his high-profile TV appearances and gigs. Airwaves sell music, unfortunately, that's what the era 2 lacks in all the major markets, including the most important 2 markets in Asia: Japan and South Korea. 2) The worldwide estimate for Trespassing by the end of 2012 was somewhere around 312,000, per MediaTraffic, since then it has fallen off their radar. I can't say Trespassing has been flying off the shelves over the past 6 months with little to no radio presence and promo buzz, but I'm sure it's been making sales somehow and somewhere. 3) I'm afraid we won't have any updates on Trespassing's official numbers till maybe Billboard or SoundScan ever mentions (for domestic sales), and any press release from RCA (for worldwide sales, if it ever sells enough to become a talking point). MediaTraffic is still an estimate, at best!

Believe that's the universal feeling in the fandom in regard to the Trespassing era: a fantastic product but many key elements didn't come together... it could have been so much more than it was! But Adam is doing more than fine for himself, let's just all enjoy whatever gifts Adam is bringing to us and look forward to the next chapter to come!

Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' Holds Atop Hot 100 The song, featuring T.I. and Pharrell, logs a fourth week at No. 1 while setting a notable sales mark. Plus, Miley Cyrus' 'We Can't Stop' roars 5-3Robin Thicke tallies a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell. Also impressively, "Lines" becomes the first song in six months to sell more than 400,000 downloads in multiple weeks. "Lines" spends a fifth week at No. 1 on the Digital Songs chart, selling 423,000 downloads (down less than 1%) in the Nielsen SoundScan tracking week. While last week's sum (424,000) marked the year's best sales frame for a song, this week's total makes "Lines" the first title to sell more than 400,000 in multiple weeks since Taylor Swift's "I Knew You Were Trouble." sold 416,000 the week of Oct. 27, 2012, and 582,000 over the Christmas 2012 tracking period (reflected on the Digital Songs chart dated Jan. 12, 2013). "Lines" is the first song to move more than 400,000 downloads in consecutive weeks since Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," featuring Kimbra, achieved the feat for three weeks in a row in April/May 2012 (on its way to becoming the Hot 100's top song of last year). Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" charges 5-3 as the Hot 100's top Digital Gainer. It rises 6-2 on Digital Songs (209,000, up 30%) after a 74% gain (to 161,000) last week following the song's video premiere on June 19. "Stop" holds at No. 1 on Streaming Songs (8 million, down 16%; the clip's arrival spurred a 471% streaming increase a week ago). Radio could determine the song's staying power, and its No. 62 bow on Radio Songs (20 million, up 60%) is a positive sign for its fortunes. It pushes 27-24 in its fourth week on the Pop Songs airplay chart with the format's fourth-best gain in plays (up 50%). With its 5-3 advance, "Stop" becomes Cyrus' second-highest-charting Hot 100 hit, bested only by "Party in the U.S.A.," which spent three weeks at No. 2 in 2009. "Stop" passes her No. 4-peaking "The Climb" (also in 2009). ********************** ********************** For the complete article, go to www.billboard.com/articles/news/1568859/robin-thickes-blurred-lines-holds-atop-hot-100

"A label source acknowledges that internally, enthusiasm was lacking for the sophomore effort but that the Sony-owned company could get behind a covers collection so long as execs have input into such aspects as song selection and cover art." (quotes from that THR article)
This explains quite a bit about Trespassing era and RCA, doesn't it? Do I smell "creative differences"? My Online Magic 8-ball said "YES" and... "ADAM SHOULD DITCH RCA STAT!!"(IF it had any truth to it.....)
