I do think there is a different quality in his voice. Richer? Deeper? I like it. It really fills the space, (I still wish the music behind him was as big as his voice) I still am not a big fan of too much riffing though. I like the lyrics sung. I miss certain lyrics, eg, "I got a fever that I can't sweat out". A few missed lyrics is forgivable, but I much prefer accuracy. I equate it to lines in a play. Improv can work though at times......
I can say for sure though, that I Do Not Like the Boots! something about the outfit, just did not measure up to other looks.
I thought the dragon attack/wwry/into Shady arrangement was AWESOME! I love Brian!

Anyone else having issues with Photobucket???? The little wheel just keeps going round and round and round. Can't access library or upload anything. Want to post a couple Adam pictures and save a few things.

From article in On Top magazine: She added that she met Lambert at the GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco. “He's a doll and the nicest guy! He's so sweet and open. My mom, of course, had to ask for an autograph and I wanted to crawl under my seat and die,” she said. www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=15721&MediaType=1&Category=22

Yes, I agree that NY was good for him and also with richer and deeper.
I wasn't around during AI nor GNT but have read people saying that his lower register especially was deeper then and some high notes were 'screaming' for some people. Of course, I have listened to videos from that time and although I don't fully agree with the screaming accusation I can understand the impression, especially on AI performances.
I find that lately (f.ex. in FYE) he sounds very good in his lower register, it's convincing. Also his high notes are even more effortless and richer than before and I can't imagine anyone calling it 'screaming' anymore.
Of course there is no need now to push to the limit every time, he can choose a nice sounding key and high notes are perceived high in relation to the texture i.e. the song as a whole sounds better. Maybe he doesn't feel the need to add raspy, pained rock edge to his belts so often anymore and strength with confidence does the trick? And when riffing he can occasionally reach the limits too.
I know, the singing is only one part of the show, it just made me wonder today if I'm imagining that he sounds better - but it feels that way. Surely the 'TP' show has improved during the year, band plays better, interaction is easier and Adam feels more confident with it all. A great concert emerges from a multitude of factors, not only musical or technical - and the feeling and energy is best when experienced live, we at home can only guess.
The earlier concerts were good, too, but it feels like there's more relaxed fun at play now which affects positively to his singing. And the fun could make the singing sloppier but it doesn't seem so (regarding the voice). I'm so excited to get to enjoy his awesomeness these days!

This is soooo strange! I hope people in the area spread the word the best they can - a great opportunity for many, if they can just find out about it. Does anyone know the capacity of this venue?

WOW something changed ..This was originally for people who won a contest.. free airfare and free board while meeting Adam. They opened it up to others? Lucky people who live nearby.Hmmm good advertising for Live Proud and AT&T? Maybe Adam wanted a bigger audience.. I dunno ,just guessing.. If this kind of thing keeps happening, maybe my family should think of moving to LA...LOL
