Hoppers, you are not alone. That totally buttoned up shirt is sooooo dorky. Only nerds wear it that way. Then, you add the white shoes, and ugh! Not doing it for me. Give me the bad-boy-just-left-the-biker-bar-but-still-looking-stylish Adam.
After watching that orange carpet interview I have consulted my tea leaves and mashed potatoes. I conclude:
a. Queen + Adam part two is definitely in the works. It ain't official until it is official, and then sometimes not, but there's over an 80% chance we will see it come to pass. AWWWWWWRIGHT!
b. Adam returns to his Broadway roots: Nothing in the works. Nothing being considered or pursued. Right time and right role are not now. Adam's not interested. But he isn't closing the door for all time. 0% chance in the next year. sigh.
c. Adam returns to Idol: There have been "conversations", tentative, "just hypothetical" between Idol's people and Adam's people. He no longer says he hasn't been approached. However, Idol's track record with Adam indicates that they have NO IDEA what an asset he has been and could be. My mashed potatoes say the chance of Adam appearing on Idol in an ongoing judge or mentor role are about 10%. Idol's loss. Let it continue in its free fall towards oblivion.
