The Roller Coaster Series : Day 64
HELLO GLAM NATION !!!
So , I just watched the "RumorFix" interview (which did not fix any rumor , btw) ...
American Idol : I feel the same way yet .
Were you asked for AI ? : I feel the same way yet (LOL , He's so cute !!) (alright , so maybe he has been asked , and maybe not , but I personally think that he has been asked) And then he adds : There are more important things than AI (YES ADAM !!! YES !! THERE ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN THAT !!)
Queen : I can't tell you (So there IS something ..) Album : I don't know yet (Well , I think this answer is logical , I think he really doesn't know yet)
Conclusion : I think AI is not important for Adam , he has more important things to do (maybe work on A3 ?) . And there is Queenbert stuff coming up ( I already said this before , but now I'm almost sure) , And for the Album , It's not finished yet , but he's working on it .
YEA I FIGURED OUT ALL THIS INFORMATION FROM AN INFORMATION-LESS INTERVIEW .
AND : I agree 10000000000002% with what grandduchesspf said on yesterday's thread . I feel something coming , too . I smell honey , baby !! LOTS OF HONEY !!!!
I CAN FEEL IT COMING .....

Omg, it's granting wishes day:))) Thanks, Q3!!! I had to log in just for this:) My eggplant moussaka is in the oven, the Wimbledon final is two hours away ( Go, Nole!!!!) and here's my wishlist for a perfect Adam concert!!! ~No vajayjays, no dancers!!!! Superfluous. ( sorry ladies, boys, you're really awesome:) ~No Melvin! Face clean, just a touch of dark eye shadow, hair tousled and mischievous, with some light highlights in it... ~Tight leather Queenbert pants, or loose Vineyard pants, no jacket, bare feet, black (Brooke's wedding or Miami one) unbuttoned shirt, rolled up sleeves, a couple of necklaces and rings, nailpolish optional, gloves optional... Did I say bare feet? Yeah:))) In short, sexy and suave.... Now, music: ~He would sing for three hours at least. That's my only wish. He could sing whatever he wants. All his music, with obligatory Can't Let You Go, Pick U Up, Runnin and Nirvana. ~Taking requests? Best idea ever in this fandom!!! Maybe he could cover Bowie's Wild is the Wind... I'd die:))) "Love me, love me, love me, say you do Let me fly away with you... For my love is like the wind... ...With your kiss my life begins..." I would positively die:) ~And then, after the concert, by some magical happenstance which involves unicorns and fairies, he would give me an interview, two hours at least, and I would ask him all the important questions, the ones no one ever asks him during the blitzkrieg interviews because no one even knows what to ask him, the ones he would definitely not reply with "I don't know"... ~Then, the three hour long concert and the interview would be aired on prime time TV, published on CD, and we would revel in it blissfully until the time comes for the A3 release... HEAVENS:))) To conclude in the words of smart and mighty Theosgma: "There are two species of humans - those who get Adam and those who are totally sensory deprived and are to be pitied."Hear, hear!!!

Note: THIS IS NOT MY RECAP. I'm just bringing over a recap posted by another Atoper lorraine from the end of yesterday's thread in case anyone missed it.
RECAP BY LORRAINE (July 6)
It's late here on Saturday night in San Diego, CA and I still can't believe it's been only 4 days since I finally met Adam before his concert last Tuesday. It has been a long journey and it came about in the most unexpected way. I did not get a M&G {I'm not lucky that way] even after trying for years to get a ticket for radio promos, M&G before his concerts etc-and when I tried again last March, the VIP upgrades were gone in seconds!
You see, I'm a retired elementary school teacher {31+ years teaching in NY and CA} and when I couldn't get a chance to meet Adam, yet again, I remembered a former 5th grade student of mine, Jesse Lozano, who is currently the on-air personality for 94.1 FM radio here in San Diego. I sat down at my desk and poured my heart out in a letter, letting him know how much Adam has inspired me these past 4 years-I assured him that even in our senior years, our souls can be touched by a beautiful voice-and our hearts can remain young, causing us to yearn and dream and even dare to write to a former {albeit unforgettable} 5th grade student. Not really knowing what ,if anything to expect, I did hear from Jesse and he found a way ,with his station music director, for me to meet Adam last Tuesday before his Del Mar Fair concert.
Now about the day that I had finally been waiting for ---My daughter and I had to pick up the pass to get to the line where we could meet Adam. It was quite a hectic experience. We got the run around for several hours and we were told that the passes for the M&G had not arrived. Since my pass was issued by the radio station I was supposed to meet up with a rep and go to the place that Adam would be. It took a few frustrating hours but my daughter and I finally got the passes and the bracelets we had to wear for entry.
A little aside here: Shortly before I stopped teaching, I tripped on an extension cord in my classroom and broke my ankle. It was a debilitating injury requiring reconstructive surgery in the fall of 2010. I had to be in a wheel chair, housebound for over 6 months. I followed Adam on his GNT tour and it gave me something joyful to look forward to each day. Feeling so isolated and alone, I can't tell you how special it was to listen to Adam's beautiful voice and read about the exciting things going on in his life. His open, loving personality makes me happy. It is as simple as that.As a young girl, I was never one to decorate my bedroom walls with pictures of rock stars or buy magazines with celebrity sightings, etc. It was only when I saw this young man on American Idol and watched him light up the TV stage each week that I was captivated by his creative interpretation of songs, his passion for his art , his sexy yet sweet persona, his way of helping fellow contestants and his acknowledgement of the musicians on the show. And that VOICE!!! Anyway, my ankle surgery has left me needing to use a walker to get around, so there I was at the Fair on Tuesday going back and forth to Will Call trying to get my pass!!
Back to my going on line to wait to see Adam---- There were about 70-80 people there when we arrived and the station rep was there to greet me. He asked why I wanted to meet Adam and we had a good conversation about Adam's cds and musicians he worked with. He seemed surprised that I was aware of many facts regarding Adam's career. It wasn't long before Heidi {my daughter } yelled, "Mom, I see Adam!" She's quite a bit taller than me . My heart started racing. Was I really going to see him?? I told Chris, the station rep that I wanted to walk up to Adam without my walked and he told me he would put it by a table for me. The line moved quickly, we were given lots of rules--No autographs, no personal pictures, no conversations, and who remembers what else. Next thing I know I'm walking -halting -over to Adam. He looks down ,noticing my labored walk and then I see the most beautiful smile that took my breath away. I wanted to connect in some way-I said,"Hi Adam, I'm Lorraine. You have a special place in my heart-always." I know it sounds trite but it's all I had time to say. We had to keep moving but Adam said,{What a sweet thing to say. Then in a flash ,he put his arm around my shoulder and the photographer took the picture. Mindful that I HAD to keep moving, I turned to go and heard Adam say ,"Enjoy the concert tonight." It was a matter of seconds and we were off to the concert to find our seats.
I just want to add that it really is true what I said to my student, Jesse. I am now in my 60's and I can honestly say that in my heart, I feel eternally young and filled with passion listening to Adam's music and he does make me want to listen to music again. I may be growing older every day, like everyone else, but I am never going to be old. In closing, I must admit to a feeling of lingering melancholy-quite unexpected, for sure. So hard to take it all in and wonder why this young man has touched my heart and soul so deeply. Thank you for taking me into your arms ,dear Adamtopia friends-and, sweet dreams.
