Dear, dear, coo.coo.ca.choo:) Welcome to Atop, darling! Does this mean you went to a GNT concert? Do tell, please:))) I gotta say, your avi disturbs me a little, I really don't know why. Maybe because it's Adam's private part? Idk... I can't even look at it without feeling... weird. It was not ours to see. Anyways, if you ever wish to change it, I have a lovely collection of the most gorgeous Adam's avis, all completely adorable. They are at your disposal:) Or not, if you decide to stick to this one. I can also add to my offer being your personal slave for a month, doing the dishes, walking your dogs, taking out the trash, giving you a foot massage; you name it, it's yours:))) Do ignore me or tell me to f... off if you find all this terribly rude... I won't mind:) But I am not above begging you, on my knees:) Peace&love:))) ikr?! What is seen cannot be unseen. I love it! Please don't change it! When that 4th button got unbutttoned, all is fair! (A man's breast/nipple would not be considered a private part, to me. Men go shirtless ALL THE TIME!)

Well, if the topic is "grant-a-wish" here are some of mine. 1. Angelina gets to do an in-depth interview with Adam about his voice, his technique, his training, his approach to performing. The people who normally interview Adam don't know enough about singing to ask intelligent questions about it. Angelina does, and she is a delightful interviewer. I think they could really click. 2. We get a good video recording of CTMBTM with red-head Adam singing like an angel. 3. We get the complete video of Adam singing in the competition when he was a senior in high school. We only have about 20 seconds of it. 4. We get video of Adam as a kid in one of the musicals he did. 5. Adam appears in a supporting actor role in a movie, and/or in a TV series. Or a lead role for that matter. 6. Adam does a 2-hour (well, maybe 3-hour) HBO special called "Adam Lambert: the ultimate multi-faceted artist". It includes Adam picking different genres out of a hat, and performing a song in that genre. They would include jazz standards, heavy metal, blues, American songbook, musical theater, opera, Christmas music (I know he is Jewish, but Barbra did it), Queen, pop, country (ugh, but just to prove he can do it convincingly), and original music. The show would also show Adam working on at least one song from the selection process, to the musical arrangement, working with the musicians, costume design, staging, rehearsal, and finally performance. He would also do some great choreography on a couple of numbers. Interspersed between numbers would be bits of an interview showing his wit, his intelligence, his passion for performing, his work with charities, his interaction with fans, his work as a role model, and his down time leisure activities. Perhaps as part of the musical theater performance, he would actually do a scene from the play so we could see his acting ability. Well, that's a start for my wish list. What is yours? Cassie, I love your list!! But can I recommend a modification of #6. I think it needs to be a series (one show per genre) and not on HBO but on a broadly available network. With an full stereo global live stream! Oooo, I accept your modification. Well, except that, as much as I love Adam's voice, I don't know that I could sit thru an entire show of country. But a series showing the rest would be wonderful!

Bringing over a recap by lorraine from the end of yesterday's thread in case anyone misses it. RECAP BY LORRAINE (July 6)It's late here on Saturday night in San Diego, CA and I still can't believe it's been only 4 days since I finally met Adam before his concert last Tuesday. It has been a long journey and it came about in the most unexpected way. I did not get a M&G {I'm not lucky that way] even after trying for years to get a ticket for radio promos, M&G before his concerts etc-and when I tried again last March, the VIP upgrades were gone in seconds! You see, I'm a retired elementary school teacher {31+ years teaching in NY and CA} and when I couldn't get a chance to meet Adam, yet again, I remembered a former 5th grade student of mine, Jesse Lozano, who is currently the on-air personality for 94.1 FM radio here in San Diego. I sat down at my desk and poured my heart out in a letter, letting him know how much Adam has inspired me these past 4 years-I assured him that even in our senior years, our souls can be touched by a beautiful voice-and our hearts can remain young, causing us to yearn and dream and even dare to write to a former {albeit unforgettable} 5th grade student. Not really knowing what ,if anything to expect, I did hear from Jesse and he found a way ,with his station music director, for me to meet Adam last Tuesday before his Del Mar Fair concert. Now about the day that I had finally been waiting for ---My daughter and I had to pick up the pass to get to the line where we could meet Adam. It was quite a hectic experience. We got the run around for several hours and we were told that the passes for the M&G had not arrived. Since my pass was issued by the radio station I was supposed to meet up with a rep and go to the place that Adam would be. It took a few frustrating hours but my daughter and I finally got the passes and the bracelets we had to wear for entry. A little aside here: Shortly before I stopped teaching, I tripped on an extension cord in my classroom and broke my ankle. It was a debilitating injury requiring reconstructive surgery in the fall of 2010. I had to be in a wheel chair, housebound for over 6 months. I followed Adam on his GNT tour and it gave me something joyful to look forward to each day. Feeling so isolated and alone, I can't tell you how special it was to listen to Adam's beautiful voice and read about the exciting things going on in his life. His open, loving personality makes me happy. It is as simple as that.As a young girl, I was never one to decorate my bedroom walls with pictures of rock stars or buy magazines with celebrity sightings, etc. It was only when I saw this young man on American Idol and watched him light up the TV stage each week that I was captivated by his creative interpretation of songs, his passion for his art , his sexy yet sweet persona, his way of helping fellow contestants and his acknowledgement of the musicians on the show. And that VOICE!!! Anyway, my ankle surgery has left me needing to use a walker to get around, so there I was at the Fair on Tuesday going back and forth to Will Call trying to get my pass!! Back to my going on line to wait to see Adam---- There were about 70-80 people there when we arrived and the station rep was there to greet me. He asked why I wanted to meet Adam and we had a good conversation about Adam's cds and musicians he worked with. He seemed surprised that I was aware of many facts regarding Adam's career. It wasn't long before Heidi {my daughter } yelled, "Mom, I see Adam!" She's quite a bit taller than me . My heart started racing. Was I really going to see him?? I told Chris, the station rep that I wanted to walk up to Adam without my walked and he told me he would put it by a table for me. The line moved quickly, we were given lots of rules--No autographs, no personal pictures, no conversations, and who remembers what else. Next thing I know I'm walking -halting -over to Adam. He looks down ,noticing my labored walk and then I see the most beautiful smile that took my breath away. I wanted to connect in some way-I said,"Hi Adam, I'm Lorraine. You have a special place in my heart-always." I know it sounds trite but it's all I had time to say. We had to keep moving but Adam said,{What a sweet thing to say. Then in a flash ,he put his arm around my shoulder and the photographer took the picture. Mindful that I HAD to keep moving, I turned to go and heard Adam say ,"Enjoy the concert tonight." It was a matter of seconds and we were off to the concert to find our seats. I just want to add that it really is true what I said to my student, Jesse. I am now in my 60's and I can honestly say that in my heart, I feel eternally young and filled with passion listening to Adam's music and he does make me want to listen to music again. I may be growing older every day, like everyone else, but I am never going to be old. In closing, I must admit to a feeling of lingering melancholy-quite unexpected, for sure. So hard to take it all in and wonder why this young man has touched my heart and soul so deeply. Thank you for taking me into your arms ,dear Adamtopia friends-and, sweet dreams. Oh, Satisfied, I read your recap and connected to it in so many ways. I am also a retired 5th grade teacher. I have followed AL ever since my daughter made me sit through AI while visiting her home. Adam blew me away then and I haven't stopped being a fan. I absolutely do not understand this passion (used to feel guilty about it- but not now). I was never a music lover or fangirl at any time of my life. But I do know that listening to Adam's music and interviews just makes me smile and feel young again. He does make me listen to music again- all kinds. So proud to be a Glambert!

I'm dreaming of a Christmas album.
I've been trying to talk Adam into doing a Christmas album for years.
No, that's not quite right. I've been posting this article and hoping Adam sees it. That's better.
I'm not saying he has to sing these particular songs.
I'm saying that I don't think Adam would be disrespecting his heritage, if he were to do a "Holiday" album.
I, honestly, can't imagine him doing one anytime soon.
Maybe, he'll consider it about the same time he decides to do Broadway.
Click on song titles for YouTubes.

I loved the San Diego show!! The videos were great. I love Adam with just the band, rocking it along.
Wishlist:
Style: 3 words: RED VELVET PANTS Music: Anything he wants, just keep rockin' it up and play for at least 2 hours!! We know he has this in him.
And I would not say no to a WWL reprise. It's been a while.
Those are my simple requests.
