First off, Yuck!!! And secondly, I thought Shirley LIKED Adam (j/k I realize she's a fan)
I do think,if this is at all untrue, it would be in Adam's best interest for SOMEONE to come out and debunk the whole idea. Even the suggestion of an album of covers, at this point in his career, isn't good PR. And it would probably mean the end of RCA relationship.
However, I will say that IMO RCA has no idea what to do with Adam Lambert at this point. Or how to market him. And there are probably a lot of things being thrown around.
Who knows what is true, but I think the fact that they don't appear to even have a vision yet for Album 3 means we are looking at a long wait for new material.

What doesn't make sense is Adam saying he is writing and recording. Whatever it was he did with Avicci and Nile. Sam Sparro saying he is collaborating with Adam. Plus Adam seems so very happy that obviously he is not feeling screwed over. I really don't know what to think. You have a big point of view . But who knows ? And , what angered me the most is the talk about Ar cee ay . What a bunch of shitheads . I think I better go now . |

Just a reminder, freaking out here is totally fine. Conjecture and various flavors of mashed/boiled/sauteed potatoes are also fine. You don't get called an A-lister, hit maker, in press releases by accident or do interviews side by side with Brad Pit, etc. . The build up for A3, imho, is on going and placing him big, too big for a cover album. Unless it is unreleased Queen music and even then it would need to be related to a TV show or Adam's new movie!!
