Craazyforadam - Your posts from last night and today make a lot of sense. Thanks for taking the time to put a lot of things in perspective. We were all on pins and needles this time last year, too, and lived through it. Guess we'll make it a few more weeks... Seeing him looking so happy should take the edge off for us all!

Adam got really good radio play for WWFM, so if there really is a "secret blacklist" it must have come about after the FYE era. . The lack of radio play was choosing the wrong singles. The safe singles. I am not an RCA fan but they gave plenty of support to Trespassing and BTIKM. Then they panicked and chose a Bruno song. They just tried to have Adam "walk in" and Adam was born to break down doors! If they were "afraid" of Trespassing, can you imagine how terrified they were of Cuckoo or Shady?! ! Yup, that's always been my theory too. No real radio conspiracy, just safe (boring) singles that failed to catch the general publics interest. It's no mystery. And I think radio stations passed on trespassing (the single) when it was released because by that time they'd already had two duds. Why would they take chance on the third one? A "breaking down the door" lead single surely would have made such a difference to radio play. Now I'm sure there were a handful of individual stations that deliberately chose not to play Adam for one reason or another, but I don't think there was any kind of overall conspiracy or blacklist. I don't understand the difference between "dropped" and "switched" pertaining to Adam. Does switched mean bought out from RCA rather than dropped and being picked up by another label - or am just thinking in sports terms? ???
