Hmmm. I hope i dont get kicked out of the fandom...but I don't consider Adam a rock artist. He has a great anthemic rock voice (which suits a lot of classic power rock) but I don't really think his creative tendencies lean towards "rock". And my brain defines that as hard rock which I really feel needs more grit and growl and sawdust than Adams voice has naturally. I'm not explaining myself very well.
Fortunately there are many other flavours of rock. I'm partial to alt rock/pop and whatever you call the stuff that artists like fallout boy or my chemical romance do (emo- theatrical rock???) I could see Adam adding that flavour of rock to his pop music, and I think he'd be stellar. :D

I thought there was that discussion that as a bonus track, it would not have been released as a single and certainly not a lead single. That's what she means. We know that NCOE was a late addition to the album. Was Runnin supposed to be there instead? Good point. But it seems if Runnin was a strong contender as a lead single, it would have been on the album as other than a bonus track and something else would have been bumped by NCOE

yes that's what I meant; good ole RCA put in BTIKM and NCOE and that may have kept Runnin and other bonus tracks in the bonus section so they could not be singles. But those also seem like Adam may have been going more toward that bonus track sound than the Pharrell/dance songs. Adam has more than said that. I just feel the need to be continually irritated with RCA and the past/old mgmt team. It looks so much better now, but wish that could have been 2 yrs ago. but this is business, and not an easy one.

Talon - thank you - I like your possible set list and ideas. Of course, I'm biased and would like Adam to be singing every song - and if others want to join in, that's ok . I forgot about Soaked - I really love that song live - so I guess I do like some rock from Adam! What about Chokehold? Would that be considered some type of rock or emo rock? That is one of my favorites from Trespassing, and for some reason it seems rockish to me. I hated the album version of Aftermath, I like the dance remix he did for the Trevor Project (I think that's what it was for?) so hope he doesn't put any of that kind of rock. I would be very excited for some type of rock/funk fusion and some rock/electronic and some rock/pop etc. - I guess no straight up rock for me haha I don't consider Chokehold rock...although it's closer than much of Trespassing. Aftermath album version is pretty close to rock but pretty paint by numbers rock. Talon, tx for your take! btw - are you going to try for tickets? I personally hope the "guests" are of the type that can sing, and that would not include KP, but in the end I sure don't care - there are two "ingredients" I am after - Dr. Bri's guitar and Mr. Lambert's voice. (I have a hard time discerning the quality of drumming, so I am neutral towards Mr. Taylor) IT WILL BE EPIC! I will not unfortunately. No way I can afford a flight out to Vegas, a hotel AND tickets. :( Sad but true. I'm not a HUGE fan of KP but there are worse out there. With KP introducing her Killer Queen perfume though it just seems like something she'd want to do. And btw beyond Rog's drumming, I need his backing vocals - a KEY ingredient to the Queen sound especially without Freddie I consider the bass solo, drums battle and guitar solos "filler" because I don't think the audience of a pop concert knows what good stuff is I was trying to put myself into the shoes of someone organizing a Radio concert for an ADD-impaired generation... I love 39 and Love Of My Life, but I don't see them happening at that venue... The 3rd part of the London shows might be very close to what I would expect to see there. Did not mean to offend! Peace! :D No offense taken! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion anyways but I am happy for the clarification For the most part I agree that for a festival most of that wouldn't fly. I just think it would suck if we didn't get Brian and/or Roger singing at least one song... Just curious...I love Killer Queen. I remember it being one of my favorites so many days ago. Would you mind clarifying? Is she his first boyfriend, a high-class call girl, or cocaine? Somehow I vote for the last one. Any thoughts? For some reason, I throw empowerment in the mix. Do you mind? I could see Adam doing this song. It might be very sexy!!!

He grew up listening to a lot of music, Thanks to DadBert and that's why his knowledge of music's amazing. He can sing all kind of genre if he wants to (but rap & beatbox.. I think.. LOL.. he tried on the idol tour LOL). He loves pop music (see wiki on pop music), but his live performance always leaning towards rock. So I think Adam's a multi-genre artist that loves Rock & Roll. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pop_musicRock and roll (often written as rock & roll or rock 'n' roll) is a genre of popular music that originated and evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s, primarily from a combination of African-American genres such as blues, jump blues, jazz, and gospel music,together with Western swing and country music. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_%26_rollNote: Someone needs to post this definition of Rock & Roll on the other site, a lot of people misunderstand Rock & Roll as rock music and rocker.. LOL.

Here is my QUEEN+AL setlist guess.
They will get 45 minutes of performance time. They will do highlights from the London show. They will not perform with Adam not Adam and a lot of other people. They will perform all 8 songs that charted in the US that were performed in London.
Flash (Intro) Don’t Stop Me Now Under Pressure (Roger/Adam duet)^^ Somebody to Love # I Want to Break Free ^^^ Another One Bites the Dust* Radio Ga Ga ^ The Show Must Go On Crazy Little Thing Called Love* Bohemian Rhapsody (Freddie video/Adam)** Encore: We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions ****
Chart placements in the US
* US #1 song ** US #9 song, #2 song 1991 reissue *** US #3 song **** US #4 song # US #13 song ^ #16 song in US ^^^ #45 song in US
Possible additions: Fat Bottomed Girls
Queen was pretty much frozen off of US Top 40 radio after the release of the "I Wand to Break Free" video in 1984 and associated press -- and did not have a single chart in the Top 40 from mid-1984 except for the reissue of Bohemian Rhapsody in 1991 -- and it charted on sales points. [Americans did not know anything about Coronation Street and the video led to a lot of press about Freddie being gay.]
I point this out because for people under 30 in the US, they have very limited knowledge of Queen and their music. For many, all they know is Bohemian Rhapsody from Wayne World.
***
I am a huge Queen fan and Freddie was one of my favs, but I would love it if they allowed Adam to sing Bohemian Rhapsody vs. using the video.

I'm not sure what all QAL will play, but my prediction is that with Adam going Rock, one of the songs will be Adam's new single.
GO BIG OR GO HOME !
