I am confused about the radio tickets contest. Are the stations giving the code words on the hour or do you have to keep listening all through the day? I tuned in a couple of minutes before 8 and listened until 5 minutes after and they said nothing about the contest. They did talk about the concert for a few minutes. That was it. I am not sure, but I read somewhere yesterday you need to listen till they announce the "word" and you have 15 mins to text that word to get into the the lottery. I also checked the Macy's lottery terms and conditions - you can enter until Sept 1st if you are willing to sign your life away...after reading I decided to pass, btw... |

They indeed said the word "unwind" and repeated this word letter by letter. I tuned in 10 min before 8am and I heard it at 40 seconds pass 8. It is auto recorded & also a bit twisted voice so you need to be extremely careful. Try 9am. |

Yep! It IS a difficult area to get to. Only airport access is San Luis Obisbo and looks like only United and its carriers flies in/out, for very expensive rates! Other alternatives are flying into a larger airport then renting a car and driving at least 90 miles. The other acts have had tickets on sale for twice as long as A. Also, people already had summer vacations booked when it was announced. No worries! I understand the reasons it hasn't sold as well as the other shows, it was added so late, but I feel bad that Adam may have to look out at a lot of empty chairs. It is a strange location for an Adam show I think. Those of us there are going to have to scream extra loud, that's my plan! This may very well be one of the last concerts where fans can get up close to the stage for a reasonable price. Although I really want success for Adam, I've rather enjoyed having access to him. This may all change when he starts playing larger arenas and gathers mega fan status. I wish I had worked out a way to get to see him at this venue; especially after the vids from SD! |
