She is rarely this forthcoming with stuff like this!  so... Announcement tomorrow, you think? New label name? what do the mashed potatoes say gurl? I have had the flu since SD, need need some more good news. New song at fair? Oh , a label announcement PLEASE !!! Get better soon !! btw you predicted the "something is coming" BEFORE the glee news !! You're good !! and btw , MY mashed potatoes are saying it's a label announcement , but I don't even know how to cook so these potatoes are not accurate , I want Mys*&@^#r to tell !! If a label announcement is close to being announced, what day of the week is best for the media exposure? Friday or Monday?

Even though I live in the northeast Country music is very very popular in my area as well. In fact I think it's pretty popular all over the US. I can't back this up with figures but Country acts almost always sell out first here. Apparently the area where the CA Mid-State Fair is held is a real Country hot bed. So while I'd love to see him sell a ton of tickets I'm not going to give this more importance than it deserves. And besides it's SO DAMN HOT with no air conditioning!!! I can't think straight. OH I just realized I moaned about the heat in my previous tweet. Sorry! But  Talking of HOT! Just want to say that everytime I see your avi, I think that your Melvin is hotter than mine..... |

If Adam has 2,000 people at this show it will be great. He was close to that 6 days ago - 1400 I think. So I imagine he'll easily have 2K. Yes, he was at 1,400 or so last Thursday -- article like posted in this thread -- excluding any comps and radio promo winners. Plus, fair-goers who decide to go to the concert. The entire center section will be full and he'll have a nice crowd. |

Too bad that TFM was linked to "2012", and really not sensible for the credits of that movie. ETA: "Runnin'" for the 2014 Olympics really does not make sense because it is the Winter Olympics. There is not running. Seriously, I do not see how it fits either Olympics: Steel to my tremblin' lips

Perhaps a remix of Sure Fire Winners with only some of the lyrics. I was actually kinda hoping the entire Sochi winter olympics would be cancelled due to MANY COUNTRIES boycotting the brutal hard-line anti-gay laws in Russia. Yeah, I know... ain't gonna happen, but I really really wish it would.  Oh, I do not wish that. Rather, I would like Russia to commit to respect all these athletes regardless of sexual orientation. Many governments has asked for this. The IOC has already make sure security requests to ensure athlete safety. Athletes around the world have worked for years for the Olympics -- and they are the ones who would get hurt. |

If a label announcement is close to being announced, what day of the week is best for the media exposure? Friday or Monday? The old PR rule was when possible, negative news is released on Fridays -- usually after hours. Good news on Monday - Wednesdays. Monday and Tuesday mornings were considered best. This doesn't work as well anymore because news is now 24/7, and global. Really good news is often sent to key reporters on Friday to Sunday with an embargo until Monday that they must agree to honor or they don’t receive the release. What they just did with the RCA-GLEE-Queen news probably indicates a pattern...and in retrospect the timing was based on teh IHRadio Music Festival announcement. Monday 7/8- teaser story "covers" album to create buzz and set up big story Wednesday 7/10 - Glee news Friday 7/12 - Adam leaves RCA (framed by the Monday release), QAL story to Billboard (embargoed until Monday) Monday 7/15 - QAL announcement MY GUESS Friday 7/19 - news story to key reporter(s) (embargoed until Monday) [over the weekend, some tweets about "watch for news" on Monday] Monday 7/22 - new good announcement AND I knew Shosh was not just here for a music video by some artists "no one" in the US knows. |
