I’ve been predicting the “ADAM EXPLOSION” since the first single from TRESPASSING was released and

It’s been a long road of Adam being on a leash or put in a straight jacket or neat little box. There have been times when someone saw (or heard) and recognized his singing talent. But in order for him to take a job, he had to play by the rules, play the game, contain himself, etc.
We’ve only seen glimpses of what Adam is capable of. (And before anyone jumps on me for the use of the term “real Adam Lambert”, I thought long and hard LOL and can’t think of a better word. Of course no matter what anyone does to Adam or his voice, it’s still Adam.)
But since Adam is such a talented vocalist, he CAN do this:

He has to stick to the script. Adam talks about going to a rehearsal wearing makeup and nail polish and being told he couldn’t do that. It was rehearsal. He gets shit for how he looks at rehearsal? I wish we could see the “real” Adam Lambert at the rehearsal.

Is he rock or is he pop and why is he soooooo dramatic? Adam said he wanted to get on Idol because it is a great platform and if only he can get noticed he could do wanted and be a recording artist. He played the game…brilliantly. At the end of the season when the votes were counted, Adam glued rhinestones on his eyes, got his boots on, the right amount of leather, and I saw a slice of the “real” Adam Lambert.
But since Adam is such a talented vocalist, it didn’t matter that he didn’t win. He CAN do this.

Oh no! The night before his first album comes out he gets to close the AMAs and robably based on the crowds’ reaction on the American Idol tour, Adam prepared a very sexy performance. Feeling very sexy and bad ass, the “real” Adam Lambert kissed a dude.
But since Adam Lambert is such a talented vocalist, it didn’t matter that he was blacklisted from TV. Another “safer” song was in his back pocket. He CAN do this:

His label supported a tour and supported his creative vision, but it was in small to medium venues. The tour was so successful that they took it all over the world because the “real” Adam Lambert is too big for just one country.
Adam said he wanted to be more involved and have more control over his next album. Because Adam is such a talented vocalist, his label allowed him to be “Executive Producer” and set up some cool collaborations. Adam wrote or co-wrote many of the songs.

Even though the weakest songs were picked as the first two singles, the “real” Adam Lambert made two AMAZING videos for Better Than I Know Myself and Never Close Our Eyes.
Of course when you can’t get a radio hit from your album your label isn’t going to support a tour. But because Adam is such a talented vocalist, Queen asked him to front them for six shows. Elton John was the opening act.

Looking (to some) like Adam wasn’t “successful” in the USA, Adam embarked on a mini tour that was not in the USA.
Because Adam is a talented vocalist, he was able to do a few shows here in the US.
PITTSBURGH PRIDE SHOUT!
RCA wants Adam to do an album of 80s covers. His cover of SHOUT! is damned good but a whole album of 80s covers?
Because Adam is a talented vocalist and has become a savvy businessman, philanthropist, producer, strategist, perfectionist, etc., etc., etc. he can say F(_)CK YOU (of course he’s also too polite, gracious and nice to actually say F(_)CK YOU) to 19 Entertainment, 19 Recordings and now RCA.

Now let me make some predictions:
AMERICAN IDOL: Adam will be taking over Iovine’s “mentor” role on American Idol. I SEE a role being created for Adam so it all fits conveniently into his schedule. We will get more “behind the scenes” footage of Adam helping the contestants with song selection, lighting, stage movement and wardrobe instead of pointless back stories.
NEW QUEENBERT SONG: Get ready for that new QUEENBERT song that I predicted last year. When I saw the article from Ryan Seacrest about the iHeartRadio show, the words that jumped out at me were “remixing, redefining and rewriting music history.”
EIGHTIES COVER ALBUM: Because Adam Lambert is such a talented vocalist, when he turns 80 he will make an album of 80s covers.
