My favorite Adam looks are many. I loved the Glam Nation look most shows, except the times when makeup was overdone (I'm thinking of the GN DVD.) I do like the eyeliner when it is well done.
I loved Adam at the Grammys in 2011. That was glamourous in the best sense.
I loved Adam in the "light side" of the BTIKM video (great sweater, great hair and makeup).
I loved Adam during the promo period for TP. To me, he never looked better than during the period Jan - Sept 2012. It is a shame that most of those appearances were at radio shows or concerts with limited audiences or else overseas. If Adam had gotten sufficient face time on national TV during this period, it would have opened some eyes.
I loved Adam's "golden boy" look at the benefit for Maryland Marriage equality he did in September 2012.
But since then, for me, it has been hit and miss. I am just concerned he is going to go on GLEE with the current look and fail to take advantage of the opportunity it should give him. (I saw a tweet by a young girl who said "I don't want Adam Lambert on GLEE, he is messy"). I don't think Adam is "messy", but the current look is. He has so much going for him. Why mess it up?

I think we all adore Adam and he is handsome enough to get away with a lot of looks....but for me, this Melvin is not especially neat...and often almost scruffy. It is not a proper beard...just an often under-defined 5 or 6 days of brush under the chin....perfect for knocking about, writing your music. But to me...it is not stage worthy. Adam is known for his fashion forward good looks...and I am afraid I agree with heathclif re his looking like this on Glee....

New F-Word Campaign OK, So can anyone figure out what the money is actually going into for the F-Word Campaign other than the marketing the "New F word" message across the country? Noone believes in empowerment more than I do and noone wants to give bully scumbags the finger more than I do (In addition to a little waterboarding and pulling out of fingernails.) I reeeally like the idea of cultivating an inner F-U against the action of bullying in vulnerable kids. We all have to face down the cruel ignorance-driven messages that can otherwise kill our spirit. However, if the New F-Word campaign people could give more info about the methods of empowerment and signs of positivie outcomes of our investment I would be far more likely to donate. I'm sure this campaign will be more than just billboards, shirts, posters and a documentary (which we all know unfortunately the bullies will never go to and will sleep through it if required to watch.) Yes? No? It is VERY easy to throw money into a campaign of visual messages. It is a whole other thing to actually have an effective means to change attitudes and behaviors. From the description it seems the campaign's message is focusing 100% on the ones who are being bullied, to empower them to give the finger (hopefully just the internal finger because an external one by a vulnerable small guy surrounded by bullies could be a very bad scenario). It does NOT seem that the message is for the bullies, to nurture and induce some empathy and reduce bullying behaviors. The problem is that there is a wasteland out there of failed campaigns to change human attitudes and behaviors. I'm sure the two smart guys working on this campaign know this and are creating an evidence based psychologically effective, campaign backed linked to quality research studies and have done lots of research on things like campaigns that proved effective in empowering people to thrive in the face of oppression and rise up to with courage. There is a vast psychology of emotional intelligence and attitude and behavior change science that includes message targeting and framing. I worked at a laboratory. Years of research and field testing work went into developing and testing framing and targeting methods in messages to make them effective and truly get people to change their attitudes and behaviors. To really change attitudes and behavior one has to address the underlying emotions that become barriers to change… including apathy, fear, shame and others. Otherwise this is the art of empowerment rather than the science of empowerment and the investment we make is in the art. Skylar, as far as I can tell, the money goes to fund the two gentlemen who would go around the country and take 10,000 pictures of people shooting the finger, similar to the ones done by Adam and by Leanne Rimes. Then, the people would post these on social media, like the NOH8 pictures. As far as I can tell -- that's it. Am I wrong? Would like to be. Thanks for your response Juniemoon. I do think it is important to support and empower the inner fighter in vulnerable kids. One of my three brothers was badly bullied. Really important. And I am sure there are many message campaigns that DO work to empower, that have not had research testing. Maybe these kids do simply need to see images of others who support and shore up their internal empowerment voice. I mean that. Maybe one piece of the solution is that simple.

I suspect the Glee producers will have their own ideas about how Adam should look on the show in order to portray the character they have in mind for him.

I trust Adam to have the perfect look - whatever that may be - for Glee. As for the opinion of a young girl - maybe she wants him to look like Bieber.

Wouldn't it be up to the Glee team to decide how they want Adam styled for his role in the show? I always assumed that actors were styled by whoever is in charge of costuming. Actors are usually styled completely differently in there roles in films and TV series than they are in their everyday not on camera life. Remember, he was clean shaven for the Idol finale performance, he knows what is needed in most situations I believe.

I think Adam has never looked sexier than he has been lately. He looked unbelievably hot at Pittsburgh Pride. There were 400+ pictures that someone posted that I looked through the other day that were the sexiest pictures I've ever seen of him, every one was great; I can't find the link now. He really looks like a Rock Star now. I didn't think most of GNT was sexy except for Amsterdam. I agree he looked really good during the promo for Trespassing.
