www.sanluisobispo.com/2013/07/12/2581473/expectations-are-sky-high-for.html#twtHardly anyone going to see ADam.. He's second to last with only 1,400 tickets .. sold.. The highest over 9,000 sold tickets for Rascal Flats..THIS IS NOT OK. I hope people buy tickets to see him before the show. he will be singing to empty chairs..YIPES >:( OK wrong about Runnin.. oh well ,I didn't listen carefully to the lyrics The tickets for the other acts went on sale first of March. Adam's went on sale 6/19. One month before the show. Sorry, not going to stress about this one bit. It was clear at the time of the gig announcement this would be the case. Adam gets paid his nice fee (most probably) regardless of the attendance - I am not upset either, I am sure he knew what he was doing agreeing to be announced so late. I also think it might've been a stipulation of the SD contract to delay the announcement....BB is doing FINE!

Another commenter reminded us of a line by Duke Ellington that was used by Peter Schikele (aka "PDQ Bach"), who had a show on public radio where he delved into various types of music to discover what made them tick. Duke said: "If it sounds good, it is good."
I'm just going with that idea: I like it or I don't. The genre doesn't matter. I seem to like Adam's songs that tend to be more rock that dance. Whatever.
Schikele also used the following closing phrase: "It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that certain je ne sais quoi." Pretty much everything Adam performs has that.
I love this, thank you, Holst!

So I would expect at least 2K and if Adam can pull in 2K, in this part of Cali, with one month's notice.... he is doing better than OK!

I love that they played TFM on "America's Got Talent". Too bad it didn't get played at the Olympics. That is song placement! I start my day with TFM on America's Got Talent..the whole SONG! I'll have to rewatch..didn't see the contestants.. They timed it perfectly. I agree...this song would fit into many situations and I'd love to hear it catch on. When I look back, Adam's music has been played at many events from sports to choreography to reality shows etc. Even if people don't know that Adam Lambert is singing, that voice is not easily forgotten. Kind of a subliminal sort of encoding... All ready to fire off when Adam releases what I call TAB1..Trust a Bitch 1.

I think Adam's songs will keep popping up in lots of places as people realize what great music he has recorded and what amazing vocals he has!!! After we watched it, my DH , who doesn't like any of Adam's own music, said TFM is one of his better tracks. I asked why and he said the music sounds more professional. Anyway, very very happy they used the whole song. I wonder if they will use it again, like an on-going theme, since they used it earlier too.

I have always thought that the tracks that Rob Cavallo produced in his home studio were the sonically superior tracks that Adam has. This include (Music Again, Sure Fire Winners, Soaked, Time For Miracles). I know many people didn't care for Rob Cavallo's involvement with Adam, but I think his strong rock background as a music producer would line up great with Adam, and he is also the Chairman of Warner Bros Records, so it would not surprise me at all if Adam ends up there, given Rob's love for Adam.
