I am more surprised to read that Adam was in Glendale than he was at a roller rink. He played the Alex theater once, so it is not his first time in Glendale but I bet he is not over there very often. I lived in Glendale, CA for a couple of years and my westside LA friends treated it like I was living on Mars! Two different worlds! |

Queen and Adam Lambert Still Performing Tour Dates Together
It seems legends Queen and Adam Lambert will continue to headline shows on tour together. Adam Lambert has taken the place of Freddy Mercury and will continue to make an appearance as such in this years iHeartRadio Music Festival.
After the cancellation of 2012’s Sonisphere UK Festival in which the duo were to headline, fans were so upset, Queen and Lambert announced additional London tour dates. Lambert ended his time with RCA Records in 2011 continuing to play live shows through 2012. He has now teamed up with Queen to head the iHeartRadio Music Festival with fellow musicians such as Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ke$ha and more! The Las Vegas Festival will run from September 20 to 21st at the MGM Grand Arena. Lambert will provide the lead vocals for Queen at the festival and possibly future shows to come. During its 3rd consecutive year, the iHeartRadio Music Festival has added a series of outside performances in the Village to include live performances by Miley Cyrus, the Wanted, the Band Perry, AWOLNATION, Krewella, and a special guest appearance by Ne-Yo. This set will take place on September 21st from 10a.m. to 4p.m. This festival seems like it will be one to remember! Tickets go on sale July 20th at 1p.m. EST.

And as a by the way, Sir Paul was more than 30 minutes late. I really think its the norm to not start at the time listed on the concert ticket

This is probably the last gig these guys have for a while! Like when we had vids of them playing UNO, in the past. "Remember when we drew" just seems like them doing a goofy activity. I mean I am the mashed potato queen and all i see here is friends killing time backstage. Plus, like I said, Adam has never done a clue before where the entire group is in on it. They have all been solo clues ETA: Agree with Q3. Hollywood Records is not his label Maybe, but there is the elf look -- and I have seen that look only a few times before. My theory is that the clues are evolving. In the beginning, he would do something, like a new follow, and fans would notice and tweet questions. Then he dropped little hints in an interview or Tweet something or say something cryptic to a friend. It reminded me of a little kid who had a big secret but was not allowed to tell. Occasionally a friend or Shoshanna would Tweet something indicating there was something big in the works. Example: 2011 - Alisan tweeted the famous " “you Glamberts are gonna poop” Tweet. 6.29.13: He did that Glee Vine -- and quickly deleted it. That was definitely a puzzle clue. It was a nonsense "poem" that was an anagram for GLEE. 7.1.13: IG of song lyrics "Some rhymes for ur hearts." accompanied by lyrics about change, leaving and royalties. I think this was a clue he was leaving RCA and maybe more. 7.20.13: We get the "Remember when we DREW!!" IG. ?? |

This was a birthday party, last night, Q3! It was still in Glendale. I just remember how my best friend took two years to come to my home in Glendale from Westwood. It was the first time he had been in Glendale in 25 years! I doubt he has been back. I eventually left LA and when I returned lived on the Westside -- West Hollywood, Brentwood and Malibu. Aside from being in a show at the Alex (working), I just can't picture Adam in Glendale. But if you want a roller rink, I think you have to go to Glendale. At least he was wearing leopard print!! ETA: This rink does have a great wood floor -- and is a good place to skate. I wonder if Adam put on skates? |
