I finally just watched the Universal Studios concert on Jesha84's YT channel. What a riot! I didn't have time to watch these last concerts when they happened and saved them until now when I can savor them. I'd watched little snippets but not much. Now I can finally see the "relaxed" Adam that everyone's been talking about. Does anyone have a favorite YT's of Universal? The sound was a bit distorted on the bass end for Jesha's. I'd like some recommendations if you have time. Butterknife's Universal videos have the best sound by far, with very little if any distortion. Although the image quality is not as good as Jesha84's. Any chance of combining them? I imagine Butterknife would be OK - she is such a sweetie. Along these same lines, dancygeorgia has said she would be willing to put the best audio with Coz2mwiz beautiful videos from London or other concerts but needs permission. Does anyone know Coz2mwiz? |

Ok, you are interrupting my rather serious attempts at writing about the Russia Olympic boycott situation, but I got to ask - I can't believe I am actually asking this... But, given that this pic gets reposted again and again, am I the only one wondering what is going on with this pants situation, here? I mean, I know its called a package in the English language, but I was not quite envisioning this kind of a package. |

My mashed potatoes seem to be cooking in Berlin. Thinking about Adam's drawings for the German radio stations, especially Berlin. David Bowie may seem like an unlikely connection, except that he released a new album this year. On his 66th birthday, Jan 8, 2013, he released a surprise single. Where Are We Now? I asked Jesha84 a couple months ago if she would allow me to join my 2012 Wilkes Barre audio with her video and she said no. I also approached TALCvids with the same request for joining WB audio+video back in August 2012. They said they have a policy of not sharing their raw video with anyone. I told them I would be fine with letting their person join my audio to their WB video, but they said she was too busy trying to get the QAL videos done before she had to go back to college. I have not approached them again about it. There is 1 other person with good WB videos, but I have not been able to reach her. After 2 strike outs, I decided it would be better to find people who know the people with the good videos to be intermediaries. People are often more willing to work with someone if they know someone who knows that person. In addition to Wilkes Barre, I would like to do San Diego and QAL London Day 1. Plus I want to fill in the missing first 2 minutes of my Pittsburg video. Butterknife will let me use her Pittsburgh video for this, but it is only in standard definition (good enough for a DVD), so I would have to do something different for the HD version. Butterknife was close enough at Universal to get a decent video with good audio using her Zoom Q2HD. For Mid-State Fair she bought a better video camera and mixed in good audio she recorded separately. It is pretty good after the first 2 minutes when she gets settled into filming, although the camera seems to want to refocus often. But if someone with a better video image quality would like Butterknife's good audio mixed in for either event, I'm sure she would love to do it. We have been collaborating on how to do this stuff, so it would likely be a joint effort. While I am on this topic, let me just say how nice it is to have meet Butterknife in San Diego! Virgo (my roommate for San Diego) and I spend a good deal of time with Butterknife and her friend from Los Angeles and had a great time talking and just hanging out together. This was the first time I had met Virgo too and we had a great time together too. I also had great experiences meeting new Atop fiends in Pittsburgh. It is so nice to know that in this Atop community there are so many instant friendships when we go to events!!! It is also so nice that the Atop community is so willing to share everything (videos, pictures, key words for contests, etc.) and is not in a competitive mode with regards to these things!!!
