Wow...am I out of touch with what is the most popular! I don't care for any of the top 5 particularly..once in a while, #5 and never even heard of #10. hmmmmm That made me curious so I went to see how the Canada most watched top 10 matched or differed...some differences for sure but AI in the same position, interestingly. And I still don't watch the top 5 HAHAHA. Program Network Audience 1. THE BIG BANG THEORY CTV 3.2 million 2. THE AMAZING RACE 20 & 21 CTV 2.67 million 3. SURVIVOR: ONE WORLD & SURVIVOR: PHILIPPINES Global 2.65 million 4. GREY'S ANATOMY CTV 2.5 million 5. CSI CTV 2.23 million 6. AMERICAN IDOL 11 - Performance CTV 2.19 million 7. HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA - East CBC 2.09 million 8. ELEMENTARY Global 2.08 million 9. BONES Global 2.07 million 10. TWO AND A HALF MEN CTV 2.05 million I guess so!! Though I've never been a huge fan, "Two and a Half Men" has been on FOREVER. (In the top 10 for last 10 years.) It is the show Charlie Sheen was fired from when he had his ridiculous meltdown. Ashton Kutcher stars in it now. It's a crazy successful show.

Funny, I can't see anyone else. On paper and in reality he is PERFECT for the job and exactly what they need on every level. Chemistry, eye candy, personality, compassion, a good, constructive judge, funny, an entertaining, extremely telegenic personality, not afraid to be honest and a cheerleader for Idol. And he's one of its major success stories. (With Glee and Queen and HOPEFULLY new label thrown in for good measure, all the more!) He's also an articulate spokesperson for promo and Adam + Keith has potential for a great bromance. (A total counter to Levine/Shelton, but nicer.) Additionally, it's quite well known the behind-the-scenes crew loves him and, based on many of Orland's comments, would very much like him back in the fold full time. :D :D And he wouldn't be expensive. If Fox executives used a pro/con list, I can come up with pros for days and almost no cons from their end. I agree with you completely. I guess what I meant to say is that I don't see TPTB seeing him in the mix. They should but because of his numbers (not his accomplishments) they could very easily dismiss him. I think it's a rare occasion when network TV plays it smart.

I think it's a rare occasion when network TV plays it smart. The thing that's so funny when people say that because this whole thing was Fox's idea in the first place. I don't think the idea of Adam judging had even entered any fan's brain until the E! story hit saying they are seriously considering him to begin with and I am of the mind that it went much further last summer than we realize, but that's another story ... I also am quite sure TPTB are well aware of his international success and his loyal following. They were also the ones who insisted he be on the finale when he didn't have new music to promote, filmed his Where Are They Now package back in February, etc. When I get frustrated with Fox and Idol, I try to remind myself that they are the ones who discovered him in the first place, made sure he got a brilliant edit for his audition and shepherded him all the way to the point he was on TV. And they brought him back as a mentor. I truly think overall, they hold him in very high regard.

Is this Chris Colfer's real Facebook account? Seems sort of harsh saying that they will be "killing off Finn" from someone who worked with him and were probably friends on some level. Also feels harsh for the show to do that.

BTW--nice to see you posting. Miss you opinions.
