The connections Adam has made by being so talented, nice and great to work with are paying off for him. Nile was impressed with his talent but IMO he was equally impressed with how kind and genuine Adam is, and became his friend. I bet that friendship played a big role in making Adam a part of this beautiful collaboration.

On the other hand, the song doesn't fit into Adam's current r'n'r aspirations for the album. He is giving me a whiplash, but I'm not complaining! It's exciting:) Who knows what will happen next:)

This week has started off with a BANG! And I expect more BANGS to come! It's a sign yes it is!  I've never been a disco fan but I am loving Lay Me Down - and NOT just because it's Adam. I hope there's a chance this could be released as a single because I think it could smash! Now that's it's "out in the open" I wonder if Adam will tweet about it. I am very fascinated by Nile Rodgers and it really makes me all kinds of happy that someone like him admires and likes Adam. Also, this means that this Avicii guy is not only a hot cookie but a smart one as well:) A killer combo:) Almost like our Adam:) |

Drat -- I am at work and my sound card must be lousy, because I can barely hear Adam's voice at all on that recording. Will have to wait for better quality.
In any case, given how big Avicii is, I hope this cut will be the beginning of great career opportunities for Adam.
