![]()  I don't mind people asking, but I don't get why he keeps answering it. Really, Adam:)))) Some people think he picked that question purposely to finally put an end to any and all speculation about a Tsp tour. Apparently there are some that still thought it might happen. Fans who don't keep up very well obviously.  Could be:) Or, our Adam was just being sly and showing the greater gods that there is still interest for the Tsp Tour, how badly people want it:) It's a stretch, I know:) In this case scenario, fans who don't keep up come in handy:) This kind of a twitter party rarely makes headlines, so I think it's just him with some spare time hanging with us. It's sweet:) |

Just tossing an opinion out here.. but after the twitter party and the new development with Niles and Avicii.. I am wondering if Adam is flying solo for a while, really is trying out the singer /songwriter/ ARTIST role - going where the spirit moves him, the projects and people and causes that connect with him. Similar to Niles and Pharrell.. I am wondering if he is giving the idea of being a "pop star" a rest and pursuing other artistic causes. I keep coming back to that twitter conversation on Mar 23, he was as open and honest as I can remember in a long time, and some of the comments make me wonder if he is disenchanted with the pop star puppeted by the label selling songs that have little or no personal meaning all for a buck kind of lifestyle. If I am right about this hunch, then he is now running with the cool kids, and being appreciated for his artistic talent in that circle. Which just thrills me. However that does mean, to me, A3 is in a holding pattern. (read from bottom up ) G ame of thrones.

@popjustice then there's the philosophy saying: don't hate the player- hate the game. So popularity contest it is-
let's all play the game.
@popjustice yet Pop will always somehow feel like a high school popularity contest. And I will always b the drama geek-Singing his face off
@popjustice I just wish there was a subgenre called "SINGING" where we could be ranked and judged based on some talent meter.
I've been wondering too.. how Adam , who has said that he wants to be his own master kind of thing,is going to sign his life away again with a, money is the bottom line,record label.IMHO If he does sign on that dotted line,he will want a lot of control over his music and art. Is there a label out there willing to fund Adam's projects because it is more interested in creativity than money???? I know I keep mentioning Prince being his own label.. and Of course ADAM doesn't have Prince's money or fame to try that at this point. DH and I were talking about Adam today and trying to figure out how he could sell his own music and how many would have to buy it, for him to make a living.. Then of course there are concert tour costs ,etc. What to do on an aimless day,figure out Adam's life.. LOL |

It occured to me too, I like how you phrased it, "going where the spirit moves him". I have to say that that's exactly what I wish for him, whatever that turns out to be. If it is making a fabulous new album and promoting it in fresh ways, that's fine by me. If it is teaming up with his artistic friends and creating magical singing dragons out of papier mache, that's fine by me, too:))) However, I don't think it would happen because he is disenchanted or something. With what? That's how things are, everywhere, not only in pop world. I am sure he has had his disappointments and disenchantments... but they can't be the defining forces of anything in his life, that's not how I see him. Imho, of course. Wherever he goes, it will be because his spirit took him there:))) |
