I just watched my first full Glee episode... Lots of singing and more singing. Adam will definitely sing. so... You can buy the songs afterwards on Itunes right?

I'm soooooo thrilled with the nemesis news. I read about it on my phone just as I was leaving the office and I'm sure I had a goofy smile on my face all the way through the centre of Birmingham walking to my bus stop. It just has so much potential.
I haven't watched Glee in a long time (I need to catch up!) - is it part of Kurt's storyline that he is trying out for Broadway roles like Rachel is? Could Adam's character be a rival to him for a role? They have similar ranges - Adam can match Chris when it comes up the upper register...

Trespassing has been dropped from the Danish chart where we could vote. They brought in 17 new songs in the top 100 and TP was already for several weeks the 'oldest' (or longest lasting) song on the chart, also its placement was not that great any more. BTW Wake me up is nr 1 and Get lucky nr 2. That leaves us only one place for voting (that I know of) at the moment. I couldn't open the page just now but they had Cuckoo on their list for hourly votes. I'll need to go to bed so I'm just leaving the link in the hope that it will open for you. I agree. And label news would totally make my day... Do not hold your breath waiting for label news. It could be a day or a year. Pleased about iTunes news. Thrilled Adam is in the Kurt storyline! I predict he also sings with Rachelle. What about iTunes news? Is Adam going to be on iTunes festival? |

Uh guys?? What am I missing here? Chic is playing the iTunes festival. A radio station tweeted that they're hoping a "helmeted DJ" might show up. Surely they're talking about the daft punk guys(that's their thing, you rarely see their faces). I don't see any feasible Adam or avicii connection here. What am I missing?? Shosh tweeted about i-tunes festival. I think that is it. But she has other clients playing it, i think John Legend will play in iTunes festival |

Ok, this news is getting me excited about Glee! I am glad to hear Adam is playing a character different from himself. Of course the ultimate would be for the audience to fall in love with the real Adam Lambert but considering how his character is written for him that would actually be impossible. This way there should be no confusion. And what fun it will be for Adam. I have a LOT of catching up to do re Glee. I know nothing! All your references to potential character interactions mean nada to me. I would love to have a Glee thread here that chronicled all we need to know re the characters and plot lines Adam will be encountering. Or does anyone know a site that would give a good synopsis? Kay, if you check the website The Backlot (previously known as AfterElton) they have a Glee review of every episode. I haven't been watching so much anymore, but keep up with everything via The Backlot! |

Regardless of the dictionary definition of "nemesis," the way I hear it used, particularly in story lines, is "evil nemesis." The antagonist who is the greatest challenge or threat to the hero. The one who just might and could and would gleefully (forgive the pun)defeat or destroy the hero. Generally brilliant, but also diabolical. Moriarty was Sherlock Holmes nemesis. Lex Luthor was Superman's. So, Adam's character being Kurt's nemesis sounds very intriguing and could have some delicious twists. Bwah ha ha.

Here is where Glee left his character at the end of season 4: - Kurt is still a roommate and BFF of Rachel in NYC. - Kurt is now a student at NYADA, like Rachel. - He also still works at vogue.com. - Blaine bought an engagement ring and plans to propose to Kurt. So, possible Adam involvement with Kurt's storyline could be: - Rachel meets Adam, they become friends and Adam becomes a rival of Kurt's to be Rachel's BFF. - Adam is a demanding teacher or coach of Kurt's at NYADA. - Adam becomes Kurt's boss at vogue.com. - Adam becomes part of the Lima, Ohio storyline. Kurt turns down Blaine's proposal. Blaine then develops a crush on Adam, and Kurt becomes jealous. Or, alternately, Adam becomes Blaine's BFF, and Kurt feels threatened. Given the age difference between Adam and Blaine (he's supposed to be 18), I think a romantic scenario (that is, Blaine and Adam dating) seems unlikely. There was also a rumor that Kurt was going to be in a band this season. If that's true, then Adam might be a rival singer. It will be fun to see what happens!  |
