Well, at least I don't have to get up early tomorrow morning? Seriously, I knew it was a long shot, but it is still disappointing. My optimism is pretty shot. The Queen stuff doesn't really excite me that much, so I guess it's back to Glee in November. (Sorry, I won't bring any more negativism. It's my own fault, honestly if I haven't learned to lower my expectations by now...) ETA---kinda sad that the blog spoiled Avicii's cool reveal Wait it's confirmed now?? Cause I'd like LMD to be the single but I'm an Avicii fan either way, and if that random German(?) blog really ruined this big reveal event then what a major WTF Eh, pretty much, I think. The blog apparently had a release date and preorder. Honestly, I am not much of an Avicii fan, although I am kinda loving WMU. And I do have mad respect for him.

Re: Tenor's singing: Thanks for the feedback. I, in no way meant to say anything negative about these singers, they are great tenors and we are talking different genres, different ages, etc. all valid points. My point was not to discredit anybody, my point is how differently Adam's voice naturally sits, in comparison to these trained tenor voices. The fact, where the voice sits does not by itself mean anything, certainly does not tell us about how well a note is sung, but it will register differently with the listener. That first octave jump does sound like a high note, when coming from that first tenor. When Adam sings an E4, it does not sound high. It sounds as comfortable as when a female sings E4. No strain whatsoever. Comb's A4 later in the song is beautifully sung, there is not doubt, and yes he is an old man. But when Adam is asked to sing an A4, he does so so naturally, that nobody would even assume that note to be high. That can be the good news or the bad news, depending how you look at it. Adam is like the 7.5 foot basketball player, who does not have to do more than reach up a little with the hand to reach the basket. Like in basketball, while a tall player has an edge, the overall agility, accuracy, etc...and all the other skills necessary will determine, whether that player is any good on the court. Same is true for singing, range is only one thing. We all know that Adam is trained and capable to sing well too, so he has the whole package. And of course these tenors do too. I just thought it was amazing to see how different Adam's natural abilities are, when you compare it to other tenor voices. And, regarding the octaves, yup, I also double checked a few times, because I did not trust my ears either. But, either I am totally crazy, or the notes are the way I wrote. It sounded differently to me too. Adam does have an unusual tenor voice. Angelina says he is a leggiero tenor --- the highest of the tenor voices, characterized by a light, bright, ringing tone, and lots of flexibility for tricky runs and riffs. It also can sound much like a baritone in the low register. Most choral music for the tenor tops out at about a G4 or A4. If you have tenors in your choir who can consistently hit those notes in full voice, consider yourself lucky. Adam can sing full voiced G5s, an octave higher than that, and have no sound of strain or tension. Remarkable. Very rare for a classical singer. G4s and A4s are so comfortably in his repertoire that they do not sound at all high, until you hear another tenor try to sing them. The mark of a good tenor, or any good singer, is not primarily range, however. It is timber or tone. Adam is remarkable in the pure, light ringing tone that also has lots of richness and depth, not a brittle, sharp sound. The harmonic resonances in his voice make it sound warm and relaxing. Much of this is due to his natural physiology, but even more due to his marvelous technique to make the most of what his body can do (talking about singing here, folks. Stop smirking.) Cassie, isn't Adam even an unusual leggiero tenor? He has so much power in the 5th octave -- somehat different than other leggiero tenors. Perhaps he can sing this way because he had a natural gift and no one "roped" him in when he was young? In any case, with all due respect to Angelina, I think Adam defies classification -- in so many ways.

Upon close and detailed inspection of the freakishly gigantic adam-pictures of Adam's CM getup, I have come to the priceless and very relevant conclusion that the position of the knot on his laces indicates that Adam ties his shoelaces by crossing his legs while sitting down, or more precisely, by bendind his leg in the knee and then positioning his ankle on the opposite thigh. And then tying his laces. As opposed to bending in the hips, or squating, of course. www.adam-pictures.com/displayimage.php?pid=31656&fullsize=1Everyone who thinks I should commit a ritual harakiri, you've got a thumbs up from me:) I am an Occupational Therapist and I work a lot with patients on dressing skills. This is known as the "figure 4" position because your legs sort of look like a #4 when crossing one ankle over the opposite knee. It often results in a medially (inside of the leg) positioned bow. I am constantly amazed at the astuteness and attention to detail of posters here. Has anyone ever seen Adam in action tying his shoes?

No, it is not confirmed and there is no reason to believe it is true. (sorry for the bad pun.) The German blog was published on August 8, 2012. It was not noticed by fans until today. It says the second single will be "You Make Me". The pre-order reference is for the album. And there is no single release date in the article.
ETA: I corrected this post because the release date is there. Note: Has a radio release date of August 26, 2013, on sale August 30, 2013. I cannot find this anywhere else.
