Upon close and detailed inspection of the freakishly gigantic adam-pictures of Adam's CM getup, I have come to the priceless and very relevant conclusion that the position of the knot on his laces indicates that Adam ties his shoelaces by crossing his legs while sitting down, or more precisely, by bendind his leg in the knee and then positioning his ankle on the opposite thigh. And then tying his laces. As opposed to bending in the hips, or squating, of course. www.adam-pictures.com/displayimage.php?pid=31656&fullsize=1Everyone who thinks I should commit a ritual harakiri, you've got a thumbs up from me:) I am an Occupational Therapist and I work a lot with patients on dressing skills. This is known as the "figure 4" position because your legs sort of look like a #4 when crossing one ankle over the opposite knee. It often results in a medially (inside of the leg) positioned bow. I am constantly amazed at the astuteness and attention to detail of posters here. Has anyone ever seen Adam in action tying his shoes? We have seen Adam untie his shoes though. It was at Costa Mesa last summer. He did indeed cross his leg over the knee of his other leg. You guys are so smart!

Getting back online and I see that all translations and other questions have already sorted themselves out. Q3, your German is more amazing than you let on. And, yes, I presume that these are German radio related dates. It would fit, because the 30st is a Friday and I recall from years ago that the German reporting week ran from Friday to Thursday following for their charts. But the article does not specifically mention that, it is just my conclusion, based on the morsels I've got. Regarding your vocal question. I think you are right for many areas, there is just no category for Adam (in more ways than one), but Angelina does have this one pretty much covered, I have to say. Let me just use the Wikipedia page as initial reference, and you see how well the shoe fits here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenore_di_graziaThe additional interesting part is that as an example for a true tenor leggiero they are referring back to Rubini, who lived in the mid 19th century. First of all, this means that all information we have about him is purely stories traded down through generations, there are no sound samples available. And then there is of course musical literature that was specifically written for this kind of tenor and the article mentions a few. Interesting that my favorite classical opera composer Donizetti seems to have written multiple parts for such tenors. Off to researching this further and will report what I find, maybe in the music thread, if it is too long for here. (The research is: These operas are quite often performed and the usual famous and great tenors of our time like Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Caruso, etc have sung them and so I don't quite know right now, what part is supposedly written for this special tenor type and how regular tenors can still sing them, so that does not reconcile and I just don't know the answer at the moment.) Secondly, I find if of course interesting that this article does not list a ton of names who are such tenors, like I said, they go 170 years back to find an example. Even if we do find a few, it shows how rare Adam's voice truly is. Btw, thanks Cassie and Holst and Mzsue for your feedback regarding my observation. Glad that I was not off with those notes and octaves that I wrote. uffff. Feel better now.

What I have found humorous today? Adam getting in a car at Chateau Marmont when he lives about a block and a half away.
(and yes I know he could be going somewhere else and if he walked the paps would follow, but still)

Thanks Q3 and Pi these are great vids. My brother had me listen to the George Jones ballad "He Stopped Loving Her Today" which of course I never heard before because I don't listen to country music and I keep forgetting to send him my Adam ballad type songs. My brother calls it a George Jones vs Adam Lambert sing off....I mean... 'SERIOUSLY'...he must be kidding! I'm going to put Underneath in there, too!

You drive your car into an underground garage that is of course secured and then you can enter your house in peace and out of sight. Has nothing to do with distance, even if he was going straight home from the event, which we don't know.

Does anyone remember one of the earlier performances of stay and underneath together when he stood up and moved to the front of the stage to sing that last line so plaintively "I don't want to hide any part of me from you..." that I was stunned at the picture of pain and vulnerability. Perhaps it is the angle of the vid....or perhaps it was me...but I can't find it on youtube. Pretty sure it was asia and I thought it was Seoul at first but I just watched that and I don't think so. It was a real 'put himself out there on the edge' moment....very poignant.
I can't seem to find it.....
eta....have no idea why the italics eta2....i found it!! Don't know if there is a better version but the end of this is worth the price of admission, as the saying goes...
