wow.. that is very different. What , if I may ask, sparked your interest in this topic? Was it a personal ? Our oldest daughter is a phd candidate.. I will PM you. I really did not mean to derail the thread -- but I only had the guts to do this because of being an Adam fan and encouragement I got from some fan-friends to go for it. So thought I would share my bit of good news. Well I am so happy you did! Personally I love hearing these stories of how this lovely man and the lovely community that enfolded changed all our lives. It's great! |

IMO, Adam needs a big label with an amazing radio team, willing to support him to get radio play. An independent label or his own label won't do that for him. He is not there, yet! Interesting record breaking fact this week. For the first time ever... the Top 4 songs on the Top 40 radio charts all belonged to the same label! Guess which one? Go ahead guess............ I'll wait a few minutes.................... got your guess ready?? I'll give you a hint, NOT RCA!  It was Interscope ![]() I don't want to debate this topic mostly because I don't understand it enough to give an opinion.. but do you think that if Adam was shopping for a label would he not have to have a handful/dozen of demo songs and a definite direction to propose to such label? I don't think he's there yet, I think he's still creating. ?? |

Q3 you are one phenomenal woman, you are. Congratulations and enjoy the success of YOUR hard work!!! I am curious as to your subject matter?? Traumatic Brain Injury -- which is why it is so amazing since I am a Marketing researcher.  Wow Congrats Q3, but it really makes me curious how a marketing researcher and TBI cross paths! I'm a medical transcriptionist and this just really makes me curious. |

I don't think he's there yet, I think he's still creating. ?? No one except Adam, his management and his close friends/associates know what is going on. But we do know that he is working on new music and has been for months. And we know that Adam is dedicated. So my guess is he has enough demos and can articulate his directions for a label presentation. Adam is a formed artist with a large fanbase, a proven track-record as a touring artist, a strong social media footprint. What Adam needs is a label that can market him and his music -- not treat him like a development project and try to make him into something he is not and does not want to be. (I'm looking at you RCA.) Adam has a broad array of choices and can choose based on what he wants to achieve with his art and career and life. Maybe that is a deal with UMG, maybe some other path. ETA: I just know that Adam is really happy right now -- and I am sure he has a plan. So all is good. |
