So that German article yesterday was right after all, way to spoil Avicii's attempt at a big reveal :( I know, although didn't the website itself actually give it away before an actual reveal could take place? A lot of people seem to like his collabs with Salem Al Fakir. It is an interesting song; it will probably smash internationally, but it's not something I can hear playing on radio in the US. |

That's a good choice. It has originality and different sounds - still tied closely with Avicii's own sound. Maybe helps in not alienating EDM fans too much (they were complaining about the first single).

Yeah that's what I meant by spoiling it, since Avicii clearly put a lot of effort into this reveal then those guys just took it upon themselves to do it for him I saw on twitter this morning people saying it was also listed on itunes as the next single. So at this point it seems a lot of effort to reveal the cover art, which most EDM people aren't going to see anyway because they'll download it. Really, it's a lot of effort to go to just for a single launch, but particularly that single. Meh. |

I got bored and went to actually listen to the song from the previews - and both are the same, LOL. Meaning that YTs from his gigs mention it under a different name than the tracklisting we've seen. I listened to quite a few of them when I was trying to find LMD. Yesterday, I played the first part of the album quite a lot but concentrated on the sounds (instruments or instr clones)- and as usual didn't pay much attention to the lyrics. Apparently the chorus registered and I thought it was an older track - no, I just had heard it earlier. All my life = You make me. I hope it does well on charts. Maybe we'll get lucky next time  ETA and now twitter says the song has a third name: Someone like you. Way to get confused! |
