A dear friend and great Adam fan has left us. Gale Chester Whittington passed away on August 12, 2013 at his home at the age of 65 no services are planned. Gale founded the Adam Lambert Fan club on Facebook. He was a tireless supporter of Adam and provided countless recordings, videos, photos and information about Adam from around the world. He is irreplaceable and will be missed. My sincere condolences to Gale's family and friends.

Obituary
Gale Chester Whittington, a gay writer, author and activist passed away on August 12, 2013 at the age of 67. Gale was born on February 6, 1948, in Holyoke, Colorado. His father was a fundamentalist Nazarene preacher with a religious radio program, his mother, a gospel-recording artist. Mr. Whittington wrote for underground newspapers in the late sixties during his fight for gay rights.
In 1969, Gale and Leo Laurence, co-founded the Committee for Homosexual Freedom (CHF)and promoted the concept of coming out en masse as a way to enlighten and change the world. The CHF were fiery gay guerrillas who fanned the sparks that helped inspire participants at Stonewall to stand and fight openly for their rights, thereby passing along a torch that would ignite the movement to liberate gays and enlighten heterosexuals around the world.
Gale owned and operated a popular Denver pet store (Colorado Seed & Pet) for 28 years. In 2000, Gale returned to writing full time. Gale received numerous awards for his novels, memoirs, poems, short stories, and essays, including six awards from the prestigious Oklahoma Writer’s Federation, Inc. (OWFI) and one from Writers Digest.
In recent years, he settled in Oklahoma at his late parents’ home. He struggled with health issues and personal difficulties, but his love for Adam Lambert and the Facebook community that grew around his Adam Lambert Fan club on Facebook page were sources of joy for him and to the 40,000+ fans who had “liked” his page.
In 2010, Gale's autobiography, “Beyond Normal: The Birth of Gay Pride” was published. The book is an extensive chronicle the early history of the gay movement and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transsexual (GLBT) Revolution of 1969. Gale Whittington was a true gay pioneer and accomplished author. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family and tens of thousands of online readers.

We got the world that Adam was in the midst of recording a new song from him. Not clear what this song is for. "It's coming along!" could refer to a track or to an album. But at least we know he is recording!!

I'm the guy who did these acoustic versions, I came across this forum and, first of all, I would sincerely like to thank EACH and EVERY one of you for all the kind words, over here and on Twitter! I'm truly extremely happy that these Adam versions - some of my favorite ones out of all the acoustic remixes I've made - finally got to be heard by his fans and that you guys are enjoying it!
Aftermath especially - it would kind of piss me off that while originally recorded a 5+min track with so many vocals and harmonies, a full choir (!) behind it and a gorgeous string accompaniment, so much of it was left out of the final mix and had never seen the light of day!
For Aftermath, as pointed out, I've used his unprocessed vocal, along with the acoustic guitar and the live strings for the last chorus. For Trespassing, I've put them on top of the instrumental of "Metal & Wood" by Tyrone Wells (such a cute song!) - the difference there is that all vocals are in the album mix, many of them unfortunately buried among all these layers.
I can't wait to finish more acoustic versions for other tracks, and hope you enjoy these too! Once again, my most sincere THANK YOU to all of you!"

Adam Lambert has finally returned to the studio and started work on his much anticipated new album. We’re pretty excited can you tell?
The former American Idol runner up has been teasing the follow up to his last record ‘Trespassing’ for months, after the album was released in 2012 and brilliantly received around the world.
We were treated to one new track from Glambert, when he teamed up with Avicii for his upcoming track ‘Lay Me Down’ recently, but we can’t wait to hear a whole album full of his own tunes.
We know we’re not the only ones and fans have been bombarding the star on Twitter, asking when they can expect his next record, and it seems that the date could be coming pretty soon.
Lambert returned to the studio to start work on his new tracks this week and shared a photo of himself standing by a microphone, drinking from a glass, with his online fans.
The image is a dated one, but it has been confirmed that Adam is back in music mode and working hard on his next album this week.
Fans reacted very positively and one replied to Adam saying:
“@adamlambert Nice!! That photo is so exciting!!”
Another said:
” @adamlambert Oh shhhhh. It sounds amazing.”
We recently reported that Lambert went his separate ways from record label RCA earlier this year, because they wanted him to record an album of 80s covers while he was determined to stick with his own tunes.
Speaking about the record to Billboard earlier this year Adam said:
“I’m in talks, so it’s all kind of being conceptualized right now, and what we’re hoping for is maybe by the fall. It’s going to be very pop, very rock, maybe even a little dark.”
