We may be off topic, Adam-wise, but like I noted, costco.com does offer the $550 Blendtec for about $400. When I got it, it was on sale for $350. Costco also has a Vitamix in stores and online for about $350.
Everything I read (or the blender videos I watched on youtube) rated the Vitamix and Blendtec almost equally. The advantage of the
Blendtec is that it fit on my kitchen counter under the cabinets, while the Vitamix did not.

For Adam, I believe the best way to build his fanbase is to tour, to do concerts. The more people see him live, the more they want to see him again, the more they are apt to buy his records and cd's.
I know the big superstars do their stadium/auditorium tours "after" they have had several singles off the latest cd chart on Top 40. Adam did not have top 40 hits off of TP, so a tour never happened. But I have also noticed that newer artists, those still building a career, will tour to "introduce" an album, the tour will roll out the same time as the cd. Yes, I know Adam did a radio tour for TP. But, in hindsight, a real tour, even if at smaller theaters, would have had more impact. You can still do radio interviews and promo while doing a tour of theaters.

OT but I wanted to update my Adam vs George Jones songs with my brother. Well....that didn't go to well.lol I was disappointed and surprised in the way my brother approached Adam and his songs. I just listen to the George Jones songs and made my comments. My brother, on the other hand, brought in all this other stuff about Adam that had absolutely NOTHING to do with listening to the songs. So disappointed in my brother's attitude. Oh! Well...Q3 said my brother probably wouldn't like my songs. His loss...not mind. But his close mindedness surprised me.  |

I use Kale in my smoothie every morning. I buy several bunches, wash, and remove from the thick middle stalk. Then I put it in a big container and freeze it. In the morning, I take a hunk of the kale (which is brittle from being frozen) and blend it with a banana, some frozen blueberries, mango nectar, almond milk, green powder, protein powder, chocolate super food powder, psylium powder, and a bit of water. It blends right up in my $30 blender! Drink immediately if you put psylium in as it thickens quickly. Super easy breakfast. I keep the bananas in the freezer too, so nothing spoils quickly and I can stock up once every two weeks or so!

MELVIN IS GONE??? omg...why does Adam always do such fantastic things when I've been away all day? Oopsie..sorry Fanoftheman..I know you loved Melvie..he'll be back, maybe?
