Isn't he sweet?? I understand the concern of his fans, but I think Adam knows better. His voice is his instrument and his main asset to earn his living, pretty sure he knows what happened to Freddie & Adele. If anybody in this world who would taking care of that gift/amazing vocal, it will be Adam Lambert. |

I’m sorry I missed the discussions yesterday. It happens so often that I read something I want to contribute to, but can’t at the time, and by the time I can…the convo has changed. Oh well. But I have to add to the discussion about the recording of “I just love you”. I have no skill in recognizing good vocal technique. I know what I like and what I don’t like, but I’ve long accepted that I can’t distinguish between the nuances of what is mindblowingly skilled and what is just…good. I sometimes don’t hear what others find so amazing. So it’s wonderful to me to hear others raving about Adam’s voice on IJLY. That song just gets me every time. His voice sends chills up my spine. The way it swoops and slides up and down, and is just so open and real….I don’t know the words!! Just the straight pure singing!!! I love it soooooo much. And then when he goes up and up and up…and then ripples all the way down. Oh my god. Gorgeous, gorgeous song. My second favourite Adam recording of all time, in spite of the clunky piano playing. (Of course it helps that the song is so moving to me; my own daughter was four the first time I heard it. It just gets to me, you know?) Now to go listen to these new recordings!!!  |

To me, this message is straightforward. LMD could still be a future single but, if not, it is on the album and we'll hear it soon. (Avicii has a world-wide number one smash hit right now. "Levels," also, was huge. "Clicks" o'plenty already, in other words, I think.) |
