I make my own juice with some frozen kale and frozen mango from Trader Joe's, pineapple juice, apples. Not sure how the detox works, haven't done an all juice diet yet. But you can make your own juice. Just don't save it for long, drink it right up. It can go bad. I have a Vitamix.

I’m sorry I missed the discussions yesterday. It happens so often that I read something I want to contribute to, but can’t at the time, and by the time I can…the convo has changed. Oh well. But I have to add to the discussion about the recording of “I just love you”. I have no skill in recognizing good vocal technique. I know what I like and what I don’t like, but I’ve long accepted that I can’t distinguish between the nuances of what is mindblowingly skilled and what is just…good. I sometimes don’t hear what others find so amazing. So it’s wonderful to me to hear others raving about Adam’s voice on IJLY. That song just gets me every time. His voice sends chills up my spine. The way it swoops and slides up and down, and is just so open and real….I don’t know the words!! Just the straight pure singing!!! I love it soooooo much. And then when he goes up and up and up…and then ripples all the way down. Oh my god. Gorgeous, gorgeous song. My second favourite Adam recording of all time, in spite of the clunky piano playing. (Of course it helps that the song is so moving to me; my own daughter was four the first time I heard it. It just gets to me, you know?) Now to go listen to these new recordings!!!  Avari, what you wrote sort of reminds me of Jamie Foxx's reaction as mentor to Adam's "Feeling Good" at :38 |

1. Sometimes I think we are the real "Million Moms" LOL - but with a much different agenda than those other moms. We are his blessing and his curse. He is our blessing. ![]() 2. I don't know if we should assume this music is for his album. In the interview he did the other day he mentioned working with others, giving me the impression the Avicii/Nile collab wasn't necessarily the only one. Of course I want an album like everyone else, but I'm happy to see him working on whatever he is working on!  |

Marketing is necessary for every artist, product, service etc. - it's a business for them. That's how they become 'known' and how people who are interested find them. Naturally, all marketing costs are added to the price, big campaigns are expensive - but using social media is cheap and fans are doing it for free right here on Atop. And you are here getting it all free. We're living in the era of internet and social media and fans and followers are an asset. A website can be used to generate income via clicks if there are ads. There are twitter ads already (ad accounts that send @ replies based on some search criteria) and more will come. Reading twitter messages by an individual doesn't in itself generate any business or advertisement income to my knowledge. Some form of 'ads included' accounts will certainly be created in the future (just like most of blogs). I think this account is a fan account that uses the word 'official', the host is collecting info and passing it on and the tweets are his findings and his opinions/perceptions/reactions. About a month ago when this account emerged for me due to posting about Adam and LMD, the header said he's a fan but the text is different now. Avicii has a verified twitter account and a verified FB page which are much more 'official'. I click each and every Adam news link in order to give them clicks that they need to operate and in the hope that they keep writing about Adam. They need it and I think that no article or post should be copied f.ex. here in its entirety, people really should click to read it all. It doesn't cost you if you click. ...And I will keep paying attention to Avicii and following the success of his album (where Adam has a song). I wouldn't mind at all if the work of fans would be compensated in some way. Many fans do an excellent job and I can get a lot of info that way. I would be happy to give 'free pr and clicks'. Why wouldn't you? |

But I have a feeling that many of these were teens. They're very conscious of all things their moms keep reminding them about and eager to pass it on (whether they themselves follow the advice or not). 2. Good point! The tweet doesn't specify if it's his own music or for someone else. To me it sounded that way, maybe because he shared that info but kept what he was working on in the spring as a secret (as if they were for others to share - or his own music but too preliminary to share). As a confirmation on the collabs, in his HH interview clip he used plural on other artists' music that he has collaborated and that'll come out this autumn - maybe he thought he could mention it as they are almost out already. Very exciting! Whatever the specifics are, I'm very happy that he's working on music. Glee etc. is great but music is the best! |

There is no chance of a third single before the album release so why send this? And "All those Adam Lambert Fan's"? "those"?? If they wanted to send a message like this, just thank @adamlambert fans for their support and promo the release of LMD on the album on Sept 19th (or whatever). Or mention the upcoming performance this week. Must be run by an amateur. Finally, this is not Marketing, this is a communications error. Thankfully, it will be forgotten in a day but the relationship damage will live on. ETA: This "Official" account has no apparent OFFICIAL connection to AVICII. It is clearly run by a fan, and I think it is not actually OFFICIAL. And AVICII does not follow it. |
