e
I don't get this at all from that article. Rachel and Kurt both go to a Performing Arts school in NYC. There are teachers at this school. I think Kate Hudson was one in her storyline. Kurt has said Adam is his nemesis. I think Adam will be in the NYC storyline only, myself.

Welcome, csquared
My dh just looks at my Adam obsession as a hobby. I have to tell you I was a little reluctant to take him to GNT as I knew I'd be jumping up and down screaming. He laughed and got me my drinks. He listens to my radio rants, etc. And, I must say, he has become very vocal about equal rights. Thank you, Adam!

Thank you everyone for the welcome! A little more about my specific likes about Adam: Love Shady, Take Back, Cuckoo - actually pretty much love everything he's put out except for Loaded Smile (hate the wah-wah guitar break!); don't care if he has a beard or not, but if he has it, wish he would keep it a lighter color; love his fashion sense; love that he's so open with his fans (and don't blame him that he seems to be keeping his personal life a bit more to himself lately); love his stage presence. Looking forward to everything that's ahead for him! Hoping for a new single sooner rather than later - It would be great if he could get something out there when he starts on Glee and have it hit big so that when A3 is ready they can use his smash hit to sell the album. I guess we'll see...

Well, I've often found myself bursting out with "'Cause I'm feelin' so shaaaadeeee lately!" apropos of nothing, so I'd say that's a hook. Is "pop hook" different than a plain ol' hook? "Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up, turn it WAAAAAY! UP" Is also a hook! Love when everyone at a concert does their arms raised in the air for that part. Can also see it, on the dance floor. Truth is, many of the songs out this year are not typical Pop songs. Unfortunately, Adam was a year ahead of the times! Someone on twitter, not a Glambert, said the other day, "If Adam Lambert's Trespassing had been released this year, he'd be snatching all the wigs!"

Just like men obsess over watching sports, playing golf, building models or whatever! I see no difference, other than that some think women aren't allowed to do the same things!

He laughed and got me my drinks. He listens to my radio rants, etc. And, I must say, he has become very vocal about equal rights. Thank you, Adam! Thank you. I wish my DH would see that it's a hobby. He has hobbies! When I bought two tickets for GNT I honestly thought he'd come with me, since he liked Adam on Idol. Apparently I'd spent too much time on Youtubes etc., and that was that. Our son who was 29 at the time came with me and enjoyed the show, though he said it was a heck of a lot different from the type of shows he'd been to (artists like Tool, lol). Now, private browsing is my friend! Although as part of a concerted effort to convince him that I can be a "normal" fan the way I am of, for instance, the Stones, I am able to watch Adam's appearances on Idol etc. without any real problem. He studies his iPad while Adam is on the screen, lol. Anyway, I do have a couple of friends I can talk to about Adam to some extent. I think both my sons are in the eye-rolling mode, even the one who saw and enjoyed the GNT show.

It IS a hobby! Just like men obsess over watching sports, playing golf, building models or whatever! I see no difference, other than that some think women aren't allowed to do the same things! Thank you! I've tried explaining that, but I think the issue is that Adam is a PERSON, not an idea, and as such he's seen as a personal nemesis (Glee tie-in!). Geesh. And I do have other hobbies, some of which we actually share . And I really try to bite my tongue during the stupid March Madness college basketball stuff...
