Too weird ....and involves three people Adam knows -- and the fan wars he tweeted about -- which are escallating. Last week, Perez was promoting Katy over Gaga. And he announced he was moving to NY "I'm making a big change. I and my son and abuela -- mama Perez -- and [dog] Teddy we're all heading to New York City for a bit. For how long? I don't know. I decided that I wanted to go to New York and spend some time there. As much time as I have a good time, as much time as I'm having fun. As much time as I want to be there." In a series of posts, a Twitter user claimed that gossip blogger Perez Hilton was scoping out Gaga's building in New York. Gaga hopped on the social media site a bit later to ask if what her fan said was true, before launching into a Twitter tirade against Hilton -- and anyone else that harasses her. (Though she apparently wasn't at her apartment at the time, she noted that building management confirmed Hilton was on the premises.) Gaga has lost it. Don't know what is going but this whole week she has been "off" and coming across as desperate. Why she didn't wait for her own week, for her single, is beyond me! the leak was a poor quality version. as a result of her panic, non of her promo was in place. What a disaster! Katy has ignored everything and is staying classy. Gaga's fans are scarier than Beiber's!! When the DL numbers come out tomorrow for Roar And Aplause, I am sure Gaga will think of something else to deflect it. And this stuff with Perez is beyond crazy! Maybe it's not the case, maybe Katy's promo more organize and better. And with that GOLD ROAR bus goes around the town.. it's really crazy marketing |

Thank you everyone for the welcome! A little more about my specific likes about Adam: Love Shady, Take Back, Cuckoo - actually pretty much love everything he's put out except for Loaded Smile (hate the wah-wah guitar break!); don't care if he has a beard or not, but if he has it, wish he would keep it a lighter color; love his fashion sense; love that he's so open with his fans (and don't blame him that he seems to be keeping his personal life a bit more to himself lately); love his stage presence. Looking forward to everything that's ahead for him! Hoping for a new single sooner rather than later - It would be great if he could get something out there when he starts on Glee and have it hit big so that when A3 is ready they can use his smash hit to sell the album. I guess we'll see... ![]() |

Hi! After lurking here (too many times a day)for a couple of years, I've decided to go ahead and register... I discovered Adam during the Idol auditions. Missed seeing the Hollywood rounds, then caught up again during the shows. Saw him in Puyallup during GNT. Probably won't post much because my DH does NOT approve of my "obsession." (I'm really jealous of those of you whose significant others participate in your Adam activities with you!) Anyhow, I'm happy to have a place to come to to check up on Adam news! Hi there! My DH tolerates my Adam hobby, he's equally amused and irritated by it. But it took us a LOOONG time to even get to the "amused tolerance" stage. I've only ever been to one Adam concert and I went by myself because I didn't want DH to come with me, and let me tell you, World War III practically took place in our home. So I both understand and sympathize. |

It IS a hobby! Just like men obsess over watching sports, playing golf, building models or whatever! I see no difference, other than that some think women aren't allowed to do the same things! Thank you! I've tried explaining that, but I think the issue is that Adam is a PERSON, not an idea, and as such he's seen as a personal nemesis (Glee tie-in!). Geesh. And I do have other hobbies, some of which we actually share  . And I really try to bite my tongue during the stupid March Madness college basketball stuff... Welcome, csquared! Glad to see you! And I can TOTALLY sympathize with you! You are not alone! I have been a fan from Day 1 but I have no one around me to share my joy of finding Adam. Thanks to Q3 and the wonderful people here, I have a place to call my own. My 3 adult children are all eye-rollers when I mention Adam....but the oldest did make a DVD of a bunch of his YouTubes for me early on. My youngest, my son, still lives at home. He and his father are huge sports fans...Yankees, Giants, Manchester United and so on......so many sports...so many games to watch and discuss.....but my little "hobby" is viewed as something they tolerate to keep me happy, so I walk around the house with my headphones on because they don't want to hear "my" music... I found someone at work to go to the GNT show at the St. George on Staten Island...and I was in such a state of shock, that I was actually breathing the same air, I barely remember a thing!! My friend enjoyed the show and thinks he's a fantastic singer, but she doesn't "follow" him and has no idea where he is career-wise, unless I tell her, e.g his upcoming role on "Glee". Despite the isolation of my fandom, I'm happy and will continue to enjoy every day, watching Adam on this amazing journey. It's been a wonderful ride...and has gotten me thru some rough RL patches. He is a joy to watch and hear, and I'll put him up against Peyton Manning (Giants), Derek Jeter (Yankees) or Wayne Rooney (Manchester United) ANY time!  |

I am late to the post regarding Roger Tyler's comment suggesting Adam channel his inner Diva. I just listened to the Season 8 download from way back. This is what I think Roger is referring to. Adam did an undeniably fantastic job on each and every song. The production was not great but his vocals really shine through. This is my husband's favorite CD that I have made for him. He loves to turn it up really loud in the car. At first I just listened until he started getting into it then I did my chair dance. It was a blast!! Anyway, just loving where Adam is headed. Adamblast OMG! 30 seconds of Adam and my day is already exciting SpinDanceI must be really crazy... |

I'm a relative newbie myself. Lurked forever and don't post a lot, but I love this blog. Frequented by many creative, intelligent, talented, compassionate,loyal people with one thing in common-WE ALL ADORE AFL! Yeah, my DH and children shake their heads. I almost became a 'closet' fan. I actually felt guilty?????? No more!!!!! Now I admit my passion to all. I've come out of the 'closet' and it feels great. I don't understand this 'obsession', but I do realize that it is fun and harmless to all. Besides, I've learned so much just lurking on this site. So, I share vids and pics with the family and they now tape anything they see with AFL, just in case I miss it (No chance of that!) Hope to hear from you on the blog again soon. |
