The Glee spoiler disappointed me a little bit . Like , all my hope have died for Adam being a recurring lead male character .I thought Adam might have a recurring role too. Is he just going to get a one appearance guest spot? They said he is joining the CAST so I hope they werent misleading. :( |

Adam sucks lollipops and frequently chews gum. He may use the vaporizer as another way to lubricate a dry mouth or throat. Or could just be an oral fixation.  2007 Adam Chewing Gum and

It's nice to have the new, good quality SSB video. But YIKES! The amount of reverb is overwhelming. It makes me not want to listen to it. Also adding my desire for Adam to care for his voice and general health. In my experience, being a singer doesn't necessarily keep some people from smoking. Smoking is less prevalent than when I was in college. But let me tell you that the biggest smokers in the music schools I went to were wind players, singers, and pianists. Note that only the pianists do not use breath to play. Some of these smokers were fabulous and serious musicians. (String players are notorious for being non-smokers.  |

They said he is joining the CAST so I hope they werent misleading. :( I have not heard anything other than what Chris Colfer said on Kelly Ripa's show. Referring Adam as his nemesis sounds more like a recurring role than just a guest spot. But what do I know. |

And most importantly , he doesn't know how to sing or hit high notes *BIG GRIN* don't worry im sure the "guest role" will be good *WINK* |

Q3: I love Shady -- and it is clearly a fan favorite. BUT it is very, very unlikely that Shady would have ever been released as a single or, if it was, played by radio. Yes, it is done with Pharrell and Nile like "Get Lucky" but it is just not a fun summer radio song like "Get Lucky" is. I think a much bigger miss is Fever. Sounds dated now but would have been fine in 2010 -- and that song should have been a single. And Cuckoo should have been a single. Two big, big misses in my book. Q3: Thank you for this. I didn't really like either of the two singles released from Trespassing, and your reply here helps me to understand why. I liked NCOE slightly better than BTIKM, which isn't saying a whole lot. I remain bothered by the tempo of the song for reasons I don't really understand, except to think that perhaps in my mind the tempo of the song does not match the subject matter or something like that. Neither song connected with me and when I heard them I didn't think, "Gee, I want to listen to that again." And as much as I like the song Trespassing, I didn't see that as a single either...something about the construction of that song. On the other hand, I could see Cuckoo or Naked Love as a single. And I agree about Fever...BIG missed opportunity. My other favorite from FYE is Sleepwalker, but I don't know about it for a single. To this day it remains my favorite Adam song. I guess I am a fan of Ryan Tedder. I have to say that I live in Eastern PA in the listening area of CC Top 40 radio station B104. And this station started playing BTIKM in rotation with all the big stars like Gaga, etc. The song dropped quickly after a few weeks....sank like a stone. And this is an area that has been supportive of Adam. Same thing happened with NCOE. I hope Adam will in the future be hooked up with people who understand what to do with him and his talent. I read the recent interview done with Roger Taylor where Roger said that Adam is a male diva and that is what he should think about being. I understand the diva part but do not understand what he means about what Adam should be doing. Can you or anyone else here explain what he means by that? I believe that Roger is saying he should be an artist who focuses on his vocals above all else. Diva -- or divo, the less common male form -- derives from the Italian, literally, goddess, from Latin, feminine of divus divine, god. It was first used in 1883 to describe a female opera singer who was a prima donna. Today, in English it is usually a glamorous and successful female performer or personality, most commonly in pop music .
Famous divas -- Adele, Sarah Brightman, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Charice Pempengco, Beyoncé Knowle, Christina Aguilera, Barbra Streisand, Maria Callas.
Madonna is often listed as a pop diva but I think she really is not -- she is something quite different.
