Hi all, just got in, read thread. Please don't be disappointed that Adam didn't sing LMD; it's not that kind of song. The DJ needs to mix and improvise right there on stage; the vocals are just another layer for him to play with, and how could he work with adam singing live? That's EDM, or at least the kind I'm familiar with!!! (Do other djs occasionally have rheir featured vocalists sing live?? i dont think they do, but i could be wrong) At most I thought avicii would give some sort of shout out to Adam and Nile about being featured in the song. Sounds like that happened?? Then it's all good!

Thanks to all who brought over tweets and instagrams. I appreciate excellence in any art form, and from what I've read and listened, Avicii is excellent at what he does--EDM music with some melody lines that brings raves more mainstream. I'm glad Adam was able to hop on board thanks to Nile--also meeting more avante garde producers.

So do these Avichii fans even know that Nile plays on that track and Adam sings the vocals? (God it sounded good! Thought I was at a hoedown when WMU came on...don't "get" that one). I am quite sure they don't know and DON'T CARE. It is all about the DJ and no one else. Glampoon - what is your experience? Mine is from interacting with my own DD+friends  Actually, Avicii fans do care about who collaborates on his songs and particularly what vocalists are featured since they are very important to his music. I base this on the fans I know online. I think it varies from one DJ to another. |
