I am really looking forward to Glee. Adam and Demi Lovato singing together is going to be fantastic. I love her big voice (and her personality comes across to me as sharp, funny, and wise beyond her years). And I am looking forward to hearing Adam cover more recent songs. Sometimes I imagine how good he would be singing songs I hear on the radio and how he would give some hits his own twist. I've thought that Adam singing Maroon 5's "You and I go hard at each other like we're going to war . . . " would be interesting, and that "Light 'em Up', I'm on Fire" fits him. Currently, I really like Jason DeRulo's song "Take me to the Other Side." Imagine that from Adam - awesome. But whatever he ends up singing, I'll be happy. He's going to be appearing and singing semi-regularly (?) on a popular weekly series with a primarily younger audience. And, I think, "Glee" is doing a great job of drumming up excitement for their new season (unlike American Idol right now) despite the sad, terrible loss of Cory Montieth. MTE, to just about everything. So funny, because I've had the exact same thoughts about the exact same songs!!! (Also, would LOVE to hear Adan's take on fallout boys "the Phoenix", or Serena Ryder's "what I wouldn't do") heck, I wonder what Adam would do to every song I hear on the radio! |
