Congratulations on your new furry family member, crazyoldgal! I have a new little companion too. Went into Petsmart last week to buy cat food for my little Molly, and went over to look at the kitties for adoption. One of them was sitting just like Molly sits, with one front paw crossed over the other, and as I looked at her, she gazed back with these big, green, calm eyes, and I was hooked. Her name is Emmy. So far Molly is hissing at her a lot, but I think they'll be friends eventually.
Reading about the plans for next year's Idol, I'm imagining the following monologue:
"I'm so sick of putting on this show! But even with the decline in ratings, it's still doing pretty well and it would look weird if we just yanked it off the air. What can we do to put the final nail in its coffin? Hey, does anyone still have Randy's number?"

Hey, does anyone still have Randy's number?" Ten years ago I got my second kitty Mitzi to keep my orange tabby Max company. After 10 years their relationship still leaves a lot to be desired. They mostly ignore each other but occasionally have spats. I tell myself that deep down they really love each other. LOL I like your comment about Idol. It's unbelievable to me that they could be making such dumb decisions, so sinking it purposely starts to make some kind of sense. I'm glad Adam is out of the running - all the good stuff he has going on is far superior to being connected to what will undoubtedly be a trainwreck. |
