How did Nile and Avicii hook up in the first place? I don't know that story. It's the "It's all started with a Tweet" story Adam tells. nope, that is how the Adam/Nile collaboration started. Via a tweet in Oct 2011 from Sam Sparro to Nile asking for guitar help with a new song (Shady). But Nile, Avicii is a different question. I think that they only started working together recently (summer of 2013), so they both would have been on top of the world at that time in their respective fields, and therefore would have known about each other. Who arranged for the first collaboration, I have not heard. The closest I have heard would be this interview/ Perhaps somebody has an interview where the question is addressed directly. |

hmmmm, have a tough time seeing any imperfection, what-so-ever.
In fact, I would call this the manifestation of perfection, both the model as well as the artist's work.

Can you imagine having to stand next to such a screamer? Maybe one of them had some magical version of that proverbial 'taser' and found a way to shut her up, because she clearly stops rather suddenly. Maybe we owe somebody in her surrounding a thank you in that matter. Besides the self-importance that rings out of such behavior, which is bad enough, it just blows my mind what level of ignorance some people have. I suppose every fandom has ignorance - had to endure my 8 year old watching 'One Direction' on Today Show this morning, so believe me, I know, but somehow, this woman did not quite sound 8 year old, she just behaved like one. Was it yesterday that folks had an IQ, EQ, IV, EV - debate, here? Well this lady could use a boost of something, I presume. Just as long as she does not scream even louder, that would be the wrong kind of meds. Maybe lambosessed finds it in her hearts to help us with her editing magic. Remember the 'marry me' - lady during the very first OOL? She was able to take care of her, wasn't she? In other news: So, Adam was sighted at the airport and should be back in LA, right? Also, that makeup picture at the bottom of page one. From when is that? His hair is very natural blond there or is this just the lighting? It's a fun picture and its a very lucky lady! YES.. I can. I've experienced it twice. First time was on S8 Idol concert I attended, all the women around me scream with that really high pitch right before and during Adam's performance. At the end of the concert my ear was ringing and I was half deaf.  The second one was when Adam performed on Rays Game in Tampa, next to me were 2 teenagers.. pheww.. they're tiny but when they scream, they really can hurt your ear drums. |

Just wanted to let people know that in my confirmation letter from New York, New York, it said they you can have up to four people in a room, you just have to pay $30 for each additional person. So for four people to share a room, it would be roughly $600/4 = $150 per night. With the $423 per concert ticket plus the $150 for hotel, it's a way better deal than paying that $1765 for a ticket only. So so grateful that the people at Atop told me about this package deal.  ETA: Oops, after I posted this, I realized that perhaps there is a limit on the number of concert tickets you can get per room. I'm just not sure. Anyway, still a great deal when sharing with at least one other person. |

I am so bored today which puts my mind on Vodka thoughts. As we discussed yesterday, Adam seems to be in great shape. actors get into shape or dis-shape (yes I know it is not a word ) for different roles (Tom Hanks in Castaway) Adam is taking on a new role on Glee So... what if his new role is requiring shirtless scenes? ![]() ![]()  OK I will go sit in the corner now. (I really really do not want to do the laundry)

Finally had time to sit down for a little bit and watch the TALC videos of the AFTEE concert and WOWOWOWOWOW!!! So good and what a pleasure to have such a clear picture and sound. And now I hope the woman who kept yelling "Adam! Adam! You have a tag on your ass!" over and over and over and even trying to interrupt Nile and Adam talking ("Excuse me! Adam! You have a tag on your ass!") will recognize her voice and feel even a tenth of the mortification I felt listening to her. WTF??? What happened to respect and boundaries? Did she expect them to drop everything, for Adam to look around for this "tag" (or whatever it was, I couldn't see anything), then thank her for pointing that out? Then he's telling the very sweet story behind "Shady" and when he says, "It all started with a Tweet!" she yells "Twat!" REALLY??? Geez, how obnoxious! (Yes, I know he once referred to a past tense Tweet as a twat, I get it, not the point here.) So Adam is generous with his time and attention and talks to fans in the audience, etc., but where in this person's mind did she get the idea that meant she's his BFF and...oh, hell, I'm on a rant now. Anyway, it was SO distracting to hear that voice rudely squawking away loudly during the Shady intro it just pissed me off. Such a fabulous recording, better than any I've seen in the past, and I listen to it literally cringing until she stops it. Agh... To whomever in TALC who did the fantastic recordings, thank you, thank you, thank you, and if I could, I'd mail you a tazer to use on the next self-centered clod who stands next to you and acts like a noisy nitwit while you're taping. Had to get that off my chest and if you need to delete this, that's okay, I may have broken some rules myself posting it. :-( ![]() ![]() |

love this one..  mys*&@^#r50, it looks like Adam is taller then Avicii .. Yes! Adam had on those HUGE platforms, I'd say about 4-6 inches high. Avicii is in flat tennis shoes. He is supposed to be about 5'11" so I'd say that's about right! |
