I haven't watched Glee for a long time (I stopped when Rachael went to NY - the whole show just was way too mean for me) but I remember an episode early on where Kurt was trying to hit a certain note in a song. Does anyone recall what note that was?

I wonder sometimes whether there is some direct whisper line between studios and other branches of the music biz. Getting the word out that something great has happened and kind of starting the drum roll in the back offices, long before any official promotion would ever take place.
In the end, the studio folks are the first to know, what has gone down, if anything. Obviously, they cannot officially talk, as in releasing anything, but if I look at the world that I work and operate in, quite a bit of REAL information comes down some jungle paths well outside the official through-fares. And in my own work world, I have a pretty good understanding on who has real news and who has just some hype or gossip. Can't be all that different in other places, in the end, that is how we humans work.
So, here you have a studio wanting to make sure that everyone knows that things happened in their house, you have pretty much all major labels under UMG starting to either follow Adam on twitter, tweet about him or otherwise paying attention to this recent collaboration, you have Nile talking about something that was life altering, you have Avicii telling us about 3 amazing new songs, and you have Adam being extremely quiet. This is the public side that we are seeing, but what do you think is the word in the field?
Game changer?
I don't know whether I can read the tealeaves any better than the next person, but something went down during those days and obviously the parties involved or the parties listening in are quite aware of it.

The days may be quiet for us, but I can hear the buzzing. Can you?
ETA: And Adam has since retweeted, but he is still not saying much himself and he did not have a twitter party on this trip back to LA. He is quite selective about when to have them these days, this smart cookie.
