So Adam was in NY -- flew back to LA on Thursday -- to fly back to NY today. Wonder if he needed to be in LA or just wanted to go home for a couple of days. Probably to get some clothes  |

I hope Momtomany doesn't mind me letting you know that yesterday morning her precious dog Zipper past away. She lived a long and beautiful life with Momtomany and her family. Momtomany is such a treasure here at Atopia and I thought you might want to know in case you would like to leave her a message in the Members news thread.

Hey, if you speak (or spell) Czech, I'm looking for the spelling of a town that in English means "Little Willow". Would you know how that might look on a map? "Little Willow" could mean a village "Malá Vrbka" - we have a village with the name in the CR (near to city Hodonin), www.malavrbka.cz/ I don't know - was it what were you looking for? So neat that Adam will be presenting at the MTV Video Music Awards! That should be fun. Can't wait to see the look he puts together for the night. I'm excited to see him on the red carpet, hopefully doing some interviews, too, and to see him on stage, in the audience, and maybe at the after parties.
Performing "Lay Me Down" live in front of Avicii's typical concert audience might not work so well because they have a certain expectation for their concert experience, but it would be terrific for a one-off appearance on an award show sometime in the future. The television viewing audience has different expectations and I think spectacle and/or vocals are more important in that situation. If Avicii wants a performance slot and visibility on a TV show how could he accept unless he had live performers with him on stage? (Or has he performed on TV before just spinning his music?)
Interesting (and such a coincidence) to see Adam tweet that he's practicing Pilates. I think I recall that Adam said that he and Sauli tried Pilates (or was it yoga?) and didn't like it. I was reading an article just last week which said that Pilates expands the rib cage and it made me think of Adam and I wondered if he'd ever consider taking it up again. He already seems to have an expansive rib cage, and it seems to me (not knowing much about the physiology of it) that that would be great for a singer. Plus doing that kind of core workout must be good for breath control and support, etc. I think it's how his friend Brooke gets those amazing abs she has. Hmmm, just thinking of Adam with those kinds of abs . . . .
