Bringing this over from end of yesterday's thread where people were looking for EMA videos: "If you are looking for EMAs there is one on vimeo that has never been blocked: vimeo.com/40380933Personally, I think this EMA's performance is the first really important and pivotal point in Adam's music scene. This is also the only time I've been up all night waiting for the show to begin.  .....waiting if Adam is going to sing and how long ... When listening to and watching this performance, there is no doubt who is the best singer in the world (but this is something we already know)! I've watched this a million times, but I really have not the slightest bit tired, but I'm wondering again and again, what a superior performer!!
I remember that night I had family coming over and was praying Adam would sing before they arrived. I told my husband this was the night that would change everything. I still feel that way. Of course they came right in the middle but I got hubby to distract them with some great nibbles and wine so I could flail live with all of you. And now another Queen performance coming up and oh has the context changed. I too feel Adam can sing his "A Change is Gonna Come" yet again. |

Yes, I remember, I was sitting alone in an apartment, (not, mine, because shown was not broadcasted on antenna network), alone waiting, expecting short medley with other artists. And then it started and he appeared, I could not believe my ears and eyez, trying to consider, how loud can I listen, considering it wasn't my flat. I might had crossed the line of good behavior . I hated (and still do in some extent) the FrankenGump looks, (this is how it was called?), but still have that picture as my screen saver. That's when I knew he would make it, one way or another. And the soon after, butterfly, me and so many others had that wonderful opportunity to listen the full show(s) with Adam and Queen. Bigger than life experience. You know, 6th of Nov has been a remarkable date for Adam, what can we expect this year? |

David Guetta was on just before Adam and I remember counting off the 'guests' in his set then realizing that he was the only one of the featured artists that hadn't already appeared! Selena didn't announce Adam but Oh that unmistakable silhouette! It was more than I could have ever hoped for and I was so glad to have the house to myself to squee without getting laughed at! |
