I want to download the latest mp3 recording of LMD but my computer says I need to download the lastest version of Flash Pro. Does anyone know if this is safe to do. I worry about a virus. And when I go to download any of Develane's folders now I get a pop up window that says I have to click on allow to finish the download. I have no idea what that's all about. Any help would be appreciated. Adamrocks, ignore the part of my PM about links to Devenlane's pages. (But I still need links to the LMD you are trying to download.) I found the answer here on a FireFox support web page: support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/960444I'll recap the important parts and tie them together in a way that makes sense. Devenlane uses the download service Mega to store all of her files. On her blog site you can find downloads for just about everything Adam has ever done. It is the first place that I would look for downloads. If you can't find it on Devenlane' site, it is because she lost a bunch of stuff when she used MediaFire and has been working to get it all rehosted on Mega. Just send her a tweet and she will likely work on your request as soon as she can. To download files, Mega uses something called "IndexedDB" for storing files on your PC. This technology allows efficient storage of significant amounts of data and large files on your PC. When FireFox sees that a web site wants to download a large file (over 50 MB) using this technology, it will by default display a popup window asking you if you want to do this. FireFox does this as a preventive measure in case the download is something that is happening without your knowledge, i.e., to prevent some program from installing malware that you do not want. The "FireFox needs your consent ..." popup with Red at the top should be displayed first. You may need to click on the blue circle with white question mark in front of the address bar for the popup with the "Allow" button to display. Click the "Allow" option if you want to download the file. If you click "Not Now" FireFox will not allow you to download at the present time, but you can do it later. (You might have to stop and restart FireFox first.) If you click the "Never for This Site" FireFox will not allow you to download now or ever again form Mega! (See my post below for a possible solution.) The popups should look like the ones in the picture below. If this is what you are seeing, it is safe to click on "Allow" on this popup! This is coming from FireFox itself and not from some add-on or malware. It is FireFox security that is asking you to confirm that your want to download this file. If this is not what you are seeing, then don't click on "Allow" without further investigation. Also, you should update to the latest version of Firefox. There have been alot of security updates added to FireFox lately. I am using version 23.0.1. There is a way to get FireFox to stop asking for permission to download Mega files greater than 50 MB. My installation on my "web browsing" laptop no longer asks, but I have forgotten what I did to make this happen.

Dancygeorgia thanks so much for your explanation. I had posted my reply just now but my Firefox browser said there was an error but it worked it out. I have no idea what's going on. Anyway my problem is I don't have the little question mark to open to click on 'allow' in my address bar. I just have the lock and the arrow pointing left. I have nothing I can open to click 'allow'. And when I use Enternet Explorer it say the mega download is better with Firefox. I never use to have problems for downloading with either site. Thanks for going to the trouble and looking into things for me with Firefox.

"Blurred Lines" is the #1 song of the year, and currently #1 in the US for the 5th straight week, I guarantee a lot of Robin Thicke. How unfortunate... Guy just comes across as a douche and I swear he was high when he performed song on The Voice here - he was sweating way to much ... Was noted by many on Twitter. And so back to #whatwilladamwear... I saw two performances of Blurred Lines here in US, I think it was America's Got Talent and something else and I didn't like either performance. Neither did my DH. Maybe the recording is better but I have never listened to it.

Thanks for going to the trouble and looking into things fo r me with Firefox. Adamrocks, I sent you a PM reply. For others, once you click "Never for This Site" when asked for permission to download from Mega, it will not display the permission popup ever again and it will not allow you to download from Mega ever again!!! Be very careful not to ever chose "Never for This Site" unless you really mean it!!! There is a possible solution at the following link but I have not tried it to see if it works correctly. Adamrocks can let us know if she tries it. Another possible solution is to uninstall FireFox and reinstall it. I have not tested this possible solution either. support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/960444Note that this permission issue is surfacing now because Devenland has recently changed from using MediaFire to using Mega for storing downloadable files. Mega uses a different download technology which is better for downloading large numbers of files and for downloading larger files. Also, if you want to know how to safely download files from SendSpace, see my entry on page 10 of the 8-17-2013 Atop pages: www.adamtopia.com/post/425046/thread

I know this is video awards, but I hope Pink wins once 'cause I love the song. I cannot believe Mumford and sons is a rock video category, and please - no Robin Thicke! Someday - Adam will be winning - it will happen! "Blurred Lines" is the #1 song of the year, and currently #1 in the US for the 5th straight week, I guarantee a lot of Robin Thicke. I'm afraid "Blurred Lines" has claimed the #1 spot on Hot 100 for 10 weeks straight now! ( www.billboard.com/articles/news/5650672/robin-thicke-leads-hot-100-for-10th-week-katy-perrys-roar-debuts ) That song is literally on the radio (sometimes, multi stations simultaneously...lol) every hour on the hour, and has worn out its welcome in my car for almost 9 weeks! I'm so excited and happy for Adam to attend & present his first VMA! ETA: Actually, "Blurred Lines" was atop the Hot 100 for the 11th week as of last week. ladymaserati8, here is that other picture of Adam in that furry jacket that you had posted in yesterday's thread. It's always been one of my favorites. Super gorgeous and it doesn't look like he is wearing any makeup.

One of those meaningless polls on Popcrush... They are asking "What album are you most anticipating?" I think Avicii's success is in the best interests of Adam too - and you might wanna click a few times for 'True' during the coming week. Maybe someone new will check it out if it gets a lot of votes. popcrush.com/september-2013-album-release-anticipating-readers-poll/
