Other than The X Factor or The Voice here in America I'm not sure what other judging gig he can get. Those are all filled for now. I hope we hear some label news soon but I'm afraid there could be a long wait. Miley Cyrus was dropped from Hollywood Records in June 2011 and her deal with RCA wasn't announced until January 2013. So these things can take a while. I hope his people have been working behind the scenes because Adam needs to start making his own music. Adam does not need a label deal to work on his own music -- he needs great demos to get a great deal, assuming he wants a deal. Yes, I know he doesn't need a label to work on his own music. He already said he's hoping for a new label team from THR article so I'm thinking he does want a label. He needs a label that will spend the $$$ to promote him. |

Huh? I am sorry guys, I must have misread something, because I could swear I read this here, and clearly I am confused. Will go back and fix/ETA my post, to not cause further panic for readers coming along later.
I just went back through today's and yesterday's thread assuming it would be right there, staring me in the face, but it was not. So, I guess, I dreamt that one. Actually glad that it is not supposed to be true now.

The Director of Photography for Glee just tweeted Adam saying "just counting the days, Mr.". That sounds like it's not too far off to me.

Next season when they start talking about new judges for AI. I'm hoping Adam has something else already booked, so he could say he is not available for AI. I'm wondering when Adam said he needed to get back in the studio immediately, if he knew what was happening with RCA? That part has me scratching my head. I'm pretty much ready for Adam to move on from Idol. If he shows hope once a year to promote his music fine but I'm over it. I also wish his fans can stop posting on Idol blogs which is unlikely but those places are toxic and full of morons. When Adam said he needed to get back in the studio I thought it was right after his international shows and he was probably still with RCA deciding where to go from there. It is possible the album covers was on the table along with other ideas but moving forward RCA decided they could only back a album cover. |
