The Bowie pic was just happenstance. I don't think he expected to see that pic in the restaurant and went Whoa! and took a pic for us and used a play on words for the title. Maybe Adam is feeling the spirit he had as a child, listening to music, as he records his new album. Maybe getting inspiration from some of that old rock n roll. Ditto for me, especially on the Bowie photo. |

Nile tweets back, "It's a no-brainer, man! You want Adam Lambert." Adam is extended an official White House invitation. He soon learns that every leader of every major country in the world will be there--even those from countries unfriendly to the U.S. He's nervous, of course, but vows to himself to give the best performance he's ever given. It's the day of the show. The Kennedy Center is packed. Dressed in a beautiful, classic grey suit, Adam steps out onstage. He is backed by his friend, Nile Rodgers. He opens his six-song performance with the feel-good number "Sure Fire Winners." Gets sassy with "Shady." Acknowledges his international hit with "Whataya Want From Me." People are dancing in the street, knowing that we are heading into a new reality where love and peace and compassion prevail. And it all started with a tweet.... So basically, world peace and brotherhood break out. That sort of puts a damper on Atoppers who were planning X-rated FANtasies. Not really a fantasy, but a fan's wish. The Jonas Brothers are making a major effort to woo gay audiences to replace young teens who have moved on to Beiber and Austin Malone. Gay blogs and websites have been all agog recently with the photos Nick Jonas has released showing his ab-alicious body and worked out abs. Now the Brothers are posing for the cover of OUT and everyone is talking about Nick's biceps. www.fmforums.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=159949Adam is working with a trainer now. So my wish is to see Adam develop more muscle. Gay men are no different than straight men = superficial = all about the looks. I think a better body would mean gay men would see Adam in a new light. and be more open to his music. (Consider Olly Murs. No where as good as Adam in the singing department. But his beefcake poses have won him a lot of gay fans.) |

I got drunk to write you darlings this fantasy in the form of a short story I hope you appreciate the fruits of my effort ------------------------
So we're all going about our daily lives, shopping and swinging our hips and whatnot, a generally good time is being had by all.
BUT SUDDENLY
A fleet of cruisers from the planet Zarphiles 9 appears from the sky whoaaa
A cruiser lands in some important place and a crowd of spectators gather to witness first contact with bated breath and glee (see what I did there)
President Barack Obama steps out the front of the crowd towards the cruiser as a flight of steps shoots out from the underside of the cruiser
A FLASH OF LIGHT
King Xornon of Zarphiles 9 steps towards the crowd! He and President Barack Obama shake hands as is customary
Also in that crowd is a humble singer by the name of Adam Lambert (insert gap for applause) who, upon seeing the alien overlord, lets out a scream of delight and surprise: "whoa-oa-oa-oa-oaaaayeAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Xornon's antennae shoot up!
"Which of you humans just hit that sweet, sweet, orgasmic E5??" he asks
The crowd all look in the direction of Mr. Lambert
Xornon approaches the singer curiously
"It doesn't matter what note it was  Did it sound cool?"
Xornon falls to his knees
"The chosen one!!"
A crowd of aliens swarm Herr Lambert and parade him through the city as he sings a triumphant version of "We Are the Champions"
They then make him the ambassador of Earth and give him a pretty cool jacket Adam turns to the camera, grinning
"More like Glambassador!"
oh and Lay Me Down is released as a single
